"Students of Hexside!" Willow stood on the stairs of the entrance into Hexside, "Got a Palisman, got a need for thrills, chills and theatrics? Well, this could be you." The witch gestured forward. Jade and Caleb flew out of the front doors as fast as lightning.

Caleb started the show off by flying straight upwards, into the blue sky and letting himself fall off, doing a flip midair and landing back onto his staff.

Jade continued by standing on her staff and swiftly maneuvering through the crowd, extremely low to the ground. Then, she went full speed down a lane of booths and quickly turning, causing her to drift to a stop, blowing up leaves and dirt while doing so.

Jade was happy to see how many pamphlets were being passed out when she flew back towards Willow and Gus. Caleb was still in the air, talking to his palisman, but Jade couldn't hear a word.

"Hey, cmon on down!" Willow called out to Caleb and he immediately did, "Allow me to introduce you to the best and the brightest of Hexside!"

But.. it didn't really look like they were the best.. Viney was dealing with Puddles, who still seemed angry at Caleb. There was a girl Jade hadn't met before with grey hair, but she seemed to be too focus on her scroll. And Gus was having a hard time flying properly on his staff.

"Just a few months ago, I'd be considered the weak link on any team, but now I'm leading one!" Willow spoke to herself, clearly excited, "Ooh! Okay girl, don't let the power get to your head just yet."

Jade tapped on Willows shoulder and pointed towards Caleb. He had walked away after seeing the other students that had signed up for the team.

"Hmm?" Willow frowned, "Caleb!"

Willow and Jade jogged to catch up with the blonde boy. "Where are you going?" Jade asked.

"The field is this-a-way-" Willow smiled and pointed to the opposite direction in which Caleb was going.

"You said you'd find the best witches for this team," Caleb pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration, "But them? They're pathetic!"

"Hey, hold on," Jade spoke up," You just met them."

"Give them a chance." Willow crossed her arms.

"Well, where I come from, even chances have to be earned. Especially if you're considered half-a-witch.. like me." Caleb's tone saddened, and he broke eye contact with Willow, but her eyes soften with empathy.

"Sorry, Captain.. Good luck with your match." Caleb turned back around and kept walking, but Willow had other plans. She created vines that wrapped around Caleb's ankles and dragged him straight into the ground.

He popped back up in the middle of the game field, rightfully confused. He held out his staff, ready to fight anything thrown at him.

Skara was the first to walk up to him, "Sorry I was distracted earlier. Been playing Grudgby for so long, I needed to catch up on the latest Fly Derby strats!" She held up her scroll and showed Caleb.

"Those look.. complicated." He mumbled.

"They are." Skara replied with a grin.
