"Here's your new roomie! SHEEEHEHEEEYEYEYYEEEE!" Ruggie cackled, pushing the new student into Jack's room.
Jack gasped silently. The peculiar freshman? In HIS room?
"Hey." Jack muttered.
"Hey there!" The freshman cracked a small smile. "Nice to meet you. My name's Wolfie."
WOLFIE? Did I hear that right? Jack scratched his head violently, but not too much or else his ears would fall out.
"WOLFIE?" Jack questioned, his voice a little bit too loud.
"Ralphie."
"Oh..." Jack shivered in embarrassment.
"My last name is Wolf, though." The freshman let out a polite chuckle.
"R-really?"
"Whats your name, roomie?"
"J-jack."
"Jack? Cool! That's the name of one of my furs-"
"What?"
"HEY GET OUT OF THERE!" A familiar voice screamed like a fire alarm. "WE'RE HAVING A SAVANCLAW FRESHMAN ORIENTATION!"
"Ugh, Leona." Jack growled. "That's our house warden. Lets go.."
"Oh-oh kay." Ralphie followed Jack out of the room.
--- Savanclaw Dorm, Main Area
"SO..." Leona huffed. "Let's address the rhinoceros in the room."
"You mean... the elephant..." Savanclaw Student V interrupted.
"SHUT- Nevermind. Hey YOU!" Leona pointed to Ralphie. "You're... a human, aren't ya?"
"We haven't had a human in YEARS!!" Savanclaw Student S chimed in.
"Uh-Uhh..." Ralphie twiddled his thumbs nervously.
"Hey Leona, isn't that a little-" Ruggie said.
"I am." Ralphie declared. "And what about it?"
"Well, there's nothing wrong with that." Leona popped a piece of meat in his mouth and continued talking while chewing. "It's just that it's a bit weird that the Dark Mirror sorted you in here, ya know? You must have some association with animals..."
Leona burped.
"W-w-well...I guess so?" Ralphie said, making the uwu face.
Jack's gulped. Is he really... one of us? A... f-f-furry? He thought hopefully.
"People have always told me... I'm an animal person. My goal is to become a mage-veterinarian. I love animals!" Ralphie said cheerily.
"Ahh... gotcha..." Leona burped again. "Well, that's kinda all. Idc about anything else. You're all dismissed."
"You're not even gonna ask us to introduce ourselves-" One of the freshman started.
"Zip it." Ruggie hissed.

Jack sighed as he walked down the path to his dorm. Is Ralphie just covering up his true self? Maybe he is really a- never mind. I'm just overthinking this. He might just be just a regular guy...
"HEY!" Ralphie tapped Jack on his shoulder. He abruptly turned around and looked down to see Ralphie's smiling face.
"Hi there." Jack deadpanned.
