PROLOGUE

Luna Hale, Daughter of Peter Hale. Luna didn't really have any friends, apart from Vernon Boyd, Christy Jenkins and Issac Lahey. She would also talk to Erica Reyes every now and then. When she was around nine years old, her family home was burnt down by an Argent.

Peter always told her stories about them, and how to always stay away from them. But his wife Josephine Argent was different, she was caring and kind, she wouldn't hurt a fly. So when she found out her older cousin Derek and a close family friend Angel was best friends with Kate she told them to stay away from her.

They didn't listen, and that resulted in her family house burnt down. She was sleeping when the fire happened, but her dad saved her. Ending up burned, and soon pronounced to be in a catatonic state. That didn't stop Luna from visiting him in the hospital almost everyday. She knew he could hear her just not communicate back.

In the hospital after the fire, her two cousins Derek and Laura went to see her. That day was the last she had seen or heard from them. She hated them, they left her, ten years old stranded in a hospital alone. She had Angel Derek left her too, they shared that feeling. But she was only a seventeen year old and couldn't take Luna home with her.

But that changed when an alpha her auntie Talia knew very well, walked in looking for her. Satomi soon adopted Luna and she became a pack member, for the Satomi Pack. The first person she met from the pack was Brett Talbot, they soon became friends.

Over the years they were so close that they called each other brother and sister. She already knew Nicholas, he was best friends with Derek and Angel. But the real story starts when Luna is walking in the woods at night and sees her cousin Laura cut in half. Scott and Elizabeth McCall along with Fallon Davis also ended up with a bite.
