reunited - omori

familiar

I went to check on my mother after a while of looking around the city. She was doing well. The nurses were with her and actually helping her a lot.

"Mrs. [--------], you might need to stay here for a while until you'll get better. Your son can take a room in the hotel nearby. It doesn't cost a lot, 100$ dollars for 2 nights." One of the nurses mentions while looking through my mothers files. She looked young. 

"That's a great idea! Sunny,  do you have enough money for it?'

"Uh.. let me check." I reached my hand into my pocket and got out my wallet. I looked through it and I had exactly 100 dollars. "Yeah, I do." was my response.

"Great! [-----], when is the hotel opening?"

"Tomorrow at 5 AM. Your son can sleep on the chair till then, if he doesn't mind."

"Oh , I don't. I can sleep just well on a chair."

"Then, make yourself at home!" said the nurse, giving us a smile and then walking out of the room.

I laid back on the chair and made myself comfy. I opened my backpack, got out a book and started to read 'till  I fell asleep. Ever since I last been in the hospital I started having even weirder dreams. Omori was gone, and the headspace was empty. Only MEWO to keep me company. It was lonely. In the corner of WHITE SPACE was always a black figure with a big eye centered in the middle of it. I remember it very clearly. It was there ever since I won the fight against Omori. I walked close to the figure but it vanished.. it became one with water, but it wasn't completely gone. 

I looked around and where there used to be a door was now a pitch black creature with lots of eyes in it. Last time I saw it was when I fought Basil. It was circling around him. 

That's when one of the nurses woke me up.

"Sir," she spoke, "The hotel is open. Would you like me to show you where it is?"

"Uh, yes please." I respond.

"Follow me."

Minutes have passed and we were finally close to the hotel. "Well, here it is. I'll call you if anything happens to your mom ." said the nurse with a reassuring smile.

"Okay, thank you." I said smiling back at the woman and entering the huge building.

I don't know why but the hotel looked like I knew it. I was sure I knew it even though it just opened and it was the first time I entered it.It was.. familiar.

I walked to a desk to pay for a room. "So how many nights?" the third guy sitting there asked me. "Two, please." I told him while opening my wallet to take out the money.

"Okayyy! Let's see... . There's a room at the floor 17, room 2 !"

"Okay, thanks. Here." I said while handing him the money.

"Thank you! Have a nice stay!"

I go into an elevator and press the 17th floor. When I got there, I unpacked everything I had and let myself drop into the comfortable bed. It was quite big. I mean, most people who come here are couples and old people.

After a while I decided to leave the hotel and go sit down at the caffe that just opened recently. 

As I walked I noticed lots of new stuff, new shops, new playgrounds even a new school. Faraway really improved in the last years. When I reached the caffe I sat down on a chair and started looking through the menu. That's when my eyes wondered around to a tall woman. She had scars on her shoulders and she looked strong. She had really short pink hair. Something about he seemed familiar too.. I didn't know what it was though.
