"Would you be quiet?! We're gonna get caught!"
Rose huffed quietly as she leaned away from your back fast when the english teacher turned around after writing something on the board.
You were only 2 minutes late from class, so the teacher didn't scolded you luckily. But as soon as you sat on your assigned seat, with Rose sitting behind you. She started to question you about what she saw on the hallways and that she saw you and Ray talking to eachother.
She said she wanted the cash since the bet was still on. You reasoned that you haven't betted on something yet, which was true, but you weren't really participating in that bet. Not anymore atleast. And now the both of you were whispering to eachother, but you tried to end the conversation before the two of you can get caught.
"You're so unfair!" Rose whispered, huffing out like a spoiled child as if she was desperate for money. Which she actually is.
If you were being honest. Rose likes to bet on everything whenever it's the two of you. Which you assumed she was really desperate for money for her personal needs. Her family wasn't that rich enough to afford everything Rose wanted and you understood Rose's desperation.
She lacked things.
Infact, when the school held up the Prom event lsst year. Rose did not attend as she knew she couldn't afford to a Gown or a dress. So being a good friend you are. You stayed at home with her so that she would be alone, yet you were also sad that you couldn't get to Prom last year.
