Prizes

You didn't think there would be no rewards included in this, did you?

We'll maintain a scorecard for each of the members and the member with the maximum Reader Score at the end of the year will be rewarded. Let's talk about the prizes first.

• You'll get the title of 'PageTurner's Reader of the Year' and get an honourable mention on the community's message board.

• You will get to recommend the next book and guess what, you'll be allowed to recommend a book of your own, as long as it meets the criteria.

• You'll get a permanent follow from the community's account.

• One of your reviews will be published in the community's review book (coming soon).

• Unlimited bragging rights.

Reader Score

Once you participate in even one of the readings, your name will be added to the Reader's Log and your scores will be updated there every month.

**Remember, you'll have to participate in at least one of the readings to get your name added to the reader's log. Other readers can still reply to questions or engage in discussions but they won't be scored for it.

How can you increase your reader score?
These are the activities that will earn you points and will help you get a higher score.

• Updating your reading progress on each marker - 1 point each.

• Bringing new readers to the club - 1 point for each reader you bring (notify the community via a message).

• Replying to the comments of fellow readers in the discussion chapter and indulging in a healthy discussion of the book - 1 point for each time you comment (doesn't include emojis or one-word replies).

• Answering the questions asked by fellow readers, for each question answered:
- 1, if you reply in 2-5 lines
- 2, if the reply is 5-7 lines
- And 3, if it's more than 7 lines

• Participating in five continuous readings - 5 points.

• Reviewing a book (before the deadline) - 5 points, 2, if you do it after the deadline.

• Reader of the month - 10 points.
