Jade stood there, staring at the broken picture frames– glass shards crowding the beige carpet. All her life, she knew her family wasn't perfect– being the farthest thing from it actually, but murderers? She couldn't believe it. After all these years, she believed her father was killed by a semi-truck.

And she couldn't have been more wrong. Her father was brutally murdered at the hands of his wife and best friend. Her mother killed her father in a desperate attempt to seduce his best friend.

Jade's eyes were blank, rotten tears spilling from her bloodshot eye ducts. Her body snapped, hearing the creaking sound of the door. She sniffled quickly, wiping her hot tears off her cheeks. She forced a smile on her face, "Don't tell me the guys heard my tantrum." She forced a chuckle.

Chibs stood there, his dark eyes evaluating Jade. "No. The guys left, and Tig is passed out on the pool table." He joined her sarcastic tone. Chibs closed the door behind him, carefully stepping towards Jade.

"Talk ta' me, lassie. What's going on in tha' head of yours." Chibs spoke soothingly, bending at his knees and reaching for the larger shards of glass– placing them back on the wooden dresser.

Jade looked at Chibs, guilt finally washing over her. "I have to leave, Filip. I can't stay in Charming." She whispered, afraid to face her fears directly.

Chibs looked up at Jade, twisting his lips as his thoughts paced his mind. Denial. That's all he felt, more denial and rejection. He wanted to understand so badly, but the selfishness of his love overpowered his morals.

"Lass, tell me yer' joking." He muttered, nearly out of breath as he calmed up.

Jade reached for Filip's hands, holding his knuckles as she guided him back up. Filip placed the remaining glass on the dresser, using the opportunity to fully engulf Jade's dainty hands in his palms.

"Filip. They killed him, they killed my father. I can't. I-I have to, Charming isn't home anymore." Jade stumbled on her words, shaking her head violently as more tears poured out.

Filip pulled Jade into his chest, tucking his face in the crook of her neck as she continued sobbing into his chest. "Jade, breathe baby. Just breathe."

Jade hyperventilated, inhaling nothing but the smell of cheap cigarettes and leather. She gripped the leather kutte on his back, holding onto Filip as if her life depended on it.

"Who, baby? Who killed who?" Filip questioned.

"Gemma! Gemma killed him. She killed my father!" Jade yanked herself from Filip's chest, screaming in his face as those blue eyes turned ice cold.

"Lassie, please.."

"No, Filip. I need to get away, please. I can't stay here." Jade dropped Filip's hand, stumbling backward.

Filip sniffled, roughly dragging his palm down his face. He watched Jade pack her bags, watching her fill each bag to the brim. "Will- Come back to me, will ya?" He chuckled, clutching the remaining hope as if it were his last chance.

Jade huffed, facing Filip. She looked at him with warm eyes, smiling at him with lips full of tender love. "I will never forget about you, Filip. I'll be back for you, I promise."

Jade dropped her remaining bag to the ground. She closed the thin gap between the two, letting her palms rest delicately on Filip's cheeks. "Don't forget about me, alright Scotty?" She teased Filip.

Filip reached in for a kiss, letting himself melt into the tender warmth of Jade's pink lips— indulging in the feeling of her innocent love. His dark brown eyes closed, soaking up the last of this sweet dream.

"I'll be waiting for yer' return, Jade Teller. Until time gives out, my little love."
