Jade hooked her leg over Chibs' bike, pulling the heavy-duty helmet off her head. Her nose cringed as she looked around the lot, "What the hell is that smell?" She gagged, tossing Chibs his helmet.

Chibs nudged her, looking over at the prospect. "Dead deer meat." He laughed, placing the helmet on the saddle of his motorcycle.

Jade gagged, looking back over at Chibs with disgust. "Looks like they might need your help too." She teased, looking back over at Half-Sack— laughing at his dumbfounded expression.

Chibs rolled his eyes at her banter, tossing his arm around her shoulder. "Maybe I'll carve some, make us some deer jerky."

Jade laughed, walking up to the prospect— her brother following along. She pressed her body against the back of the tow truck, letting Chibs and Jax walk to the other side.

Half-Sack looked up at Jax, "How the hell you want me to get it out of there?" He asked, disgust clear in his voice along with confusion.

Jax smirks, opening the tow-truck side cabin— pulling out a small chainsaw. "Just pretend it's carve your own steak night at Sizzler." He teased the blonde prospect.

"I don't eat, man," Kip says unenthusiastically, looking at Jax with discouraging eyes.

Jax turned his attention away from the prospect, turning to Chibs. He nodded his head, signaling for Chibs to follow. "Give us a sec, sis? Club business."

Jade reached over, giving Chibs a pat on the kutte. "I'll be at the benches."

Jade walked over to the benches, reaching into the cooler and grabbing a bottle of pop. She joined the other members at the benches, their conversations being drowned out by the sound of revving Harley's pulling into the garage.

She peaked around the corner, watching Clay and Tig pull their bikes in. Her body tensed, eyes focusing on Clay— muscles claiming up as he hopped off his bike. Jade looked behind Clay and Tig, immediately looking for a familiar face.

Chibs noticed Jade's look, instantly cutting off his conversation with Jax; joining Jade by the picnic benches. He snaked his arm around her hip, watching carefully as Clay stepped closer. "Ye' alright, lass?" He whispered.

Jade smiled, looking over at Chibs. "Yeah, I'm alright." She mumbled back, turning his attention back to Clay as he approached the two.

Clay took off his sunglasses, smiling at his stepdaughter. "How's my girl doing?" He asked, holding up his arms— inviting her for an embrace.

Jade put on her facade, accepting Clay's invitation. She hugged Clay tightly, "I'm doing good. I missed you and Mom yesterday." She mumbled against the fabric of his shirt.

Clay patted her back, kissing the side of her temple before pulling away from the hug. "I know, we're sorry about that. Mother Gemma's gonna make it up by hosting a dinner party this week." He smiled down at her.

"I can't wait, it's been too long," Jade said enthusiastically, finding her spot back at Chibs' hip— finding the comfort of his grip.

Clay nodded but quickly drifted his attention to the guys. "Would love to stay and chat, but fellas we got church." He snapped his fingers.
