"Char, you need to look at me. This eating disorder is getting serious!" Nick argued, forcing Charlie to look at him. "Listen, im getting worried about you, Charlie. Youve been hospitalized too many times. I love you too much. Promise me youll try to eat. Please?" He looked charlie in the eyes, cupping his face.
Charlie was in shock. Did nick just say he loved him?
"I- I love you too, Nick. And im trying. Its difficult, okay?" Charlie sniffled, leaning in to kiss Nick.
Their lips touched softly, sliding like glass. Nick pulled away, wiping the tear that he tried to keep in.
"Dont try and act all strong. We all feel small and weak, and thats okay. Im sorry about making you worried, Im sorry for letting myself get this far, im sorry! Im sorry! IM SORRY FOR EVERYTHING!!" Charlie tried to be strong too, but ended up breaking down.
Nick pulled Charlie in for a hug, kissing his hair.
"Oh, Charlie. Dont be. Do not be sorry. I want you to understabd that im not mad, im not disappointed, im not ashamed in you. I love you, Charlie Spring. Nothing will change that. I will NEVER be mad or disappointed in you for something that is NOT your fault!" Nick explained.
What nick said made Charlie smile. Charlie had never heard ANYONE say that to him. Nick was the only one that knew about his ed, he didnt want it to stay that way. But another part of him did, He hated being hovered over. He knew he would always be asked if he was okay.
And for once in months, charlie wanted to eat. He was hungry. "H-hey Nick, can we go get some lunch?"
