Isaac x Fem Y/n ~ Believing in Romance

  It was film night round Taos house and the whole friend group was there. Nick had also joined for the first time. Nick had recently come out to the whole school that he was bisexual. And that he and Charlie were dating.

   Y/n and Isaac were always reading and had some sort of book in hand. They never payed attention to the film unless it was based on a book they had read. Those to always hung out. Y/n had a crush on Isaac but never said anything.

   The group was watching a cheesy romance that Elle and Charlie chose. Charlie and Nick were on one side of the bed, Tao and Elle on the other. While Isaac and Y/n were on the floor.

  They were reading the same book, in sync.  They were on the same sentence. Y/n was snuggled up in a corner, wrapped in a blanket.

  Isaac glanced over. "You look so cuddley like that," He smiled, closing his book. "Do I?" Y/n sighed, closing her book. He nodded. He suddenly wrapped his arms around her. She hesitated to do the same but did it.

  They pulled away, going back to the positions they were in before. They both picked up their books and continued.

  The wholes group was whispering about it but decided it would be funny to see how in sync they were.

   "Y/n, Isaac, can you tell these two to stop being so... lovey dovey?" Tao whined, fixing his beanie.

  "But, I wanna believe in romance!" They said at the same time. The group started to laugh.

  "Isaac? Can I talk to you in private?" Y/n whispered in to his ear. Isaac nodded and proceeded to get up. Y/n did the same.

  They both walked to the door. "More drinks, crisps, popcorn?" Isaac asked, creaking the door open. The whole group wanted a soda except nick, who wanted sparkling water.

  The two went to the kitchen. "Whats up y/n?" Isaac asked, opening the freezer. "Okay, umm how do I say this? So uh, you know how we've had an amazing bond the past few years? And how we're bestfriends?" She boasted, getting a can of sparkling water.

  He nodded, pouring 5 glasses of coca cola. Y/n grabbed 2 glasses for herself and Nick. "Well, I kind of like you more than a friend!" She whisper yelled. The can popped open.

   "That's coincidental. I feel the same way. Can I hug you?" He said. Isaac had always been the friend that asked for permission.

  She nodded and they hugged. Y/n kissed his cheek, leaving a small residue of her lip gloss. She giggled and wiped it off.

  "Can we take this slow? " She asked. Isaac nodded. Y/n poured the sparkling water into the cups, splitting it evenly. They grabbed a tray for the drinks, setting the glasses on one by one.

  They got back to the room. "What took you so long?!" Tao complained. "Oh shut up!" Elle said, nudging him with her elbow.

  The drinks were passed out. The new couple went back to their books, smiling at one another
