Chapter 2: Am I smart?

Emma's POV

Alex ran into the OSORP building. The reason I discouraged him was because I didnt want to get excited and end up being crushed. But secretly im praying he gets the internship.

Alex's POV

I walked in happily and walk to the front desk. "Hello how may I help you?" The lady in a full white suit asked. "I'm Alex Parker. I'm here to see Hary Osborn for the internship." I said proudly. "Right this way sir." She said.

Peters POV

We're those really my kids I thought as I webbed through New York. Then I noticed the Oscorp building. Maybe I should watch my son during his internship? I thought. But before I could leave I saw my son and Harry talking. Maybe I'll stick around.

Alex's POV

"So Alex do you have any information that can impress me or at least is better than the others" Harry asked. Alex could tell he was bored. So I took out my notebook and opened to the page where I wrote the information I observed from the Lizards tail. "Well I actually I got to observe something interesting today." I handed him my notebook showing him my notes. "A tail?" Harry asked who was not impressed. 

"Actually it's the Lizards tail. The Lizard was crossed mutated with a lizard and another living organism. By studying the tail I got en-" I was interrupted by Mr. Osborn "Look kid I don't need this ok! I need something better than this! Something useful! Anyone could have figured this out! Do you think I care about some stupid tail?! Do you think I'm dumb?! Do you think your better than the others?!" He ripped out the paper with my notes and threw my notebook at me. "No sir." I said trying to hide my hurt in my voice.

Then a lady walked in. "Mr. Osborn I need you to calm down he's just a kid!" She said. "I'm not going to pity this stupid boy! He needs to know the truth!" He yelled. "Harry Osborn! Apologize Right NOW!" She yelled at him. I stood up and packed up my backpack. I just wanted to go home and cry. I walked out obviously hurt from what he said. He went inside the elevator and pressed the down butten. Before the door closed the lady from the room walked in. "I read your notes. I've never seen anything like that before. It was amazing!" She said. "Here you left these," she said handing me my notes. "It doesn't matter."

Before she could say anything the elevator door opened and I walked out. I walked outside. "Hey Alex wait up!" I kept walking ignoring her calling my name. What Mr. Osborn said was true. But it didn't hurt me less. I was a stupid kid! Emma was right! Everyone who said you wouldn't make it was right. Everyone who said your stupid was right. I felt tears hot in my eyes.

Once I got home my mom came to me and asked "How did the internship go?" I just ignored them both. I just walked into my room and lock my door. I jumped onto my bed and started crying.

Then I looked at my door then I relized what I should do. Im going to break into OSCORP and see what Osborn is intrested in. I grabbed his backpack and put money in his bag. I opened my window. I grabbed my jump rope and tied the top to the hook above my window. I climbed down and as soon as I touch ground I ran.

Peters POV

That was very harsh Peter thought. I hope he doesn't dwell on it for to long. I thought. Maybe I should check on. Once I got to MJ's house I saw one of the windows were open with a jump rope hanging out. Uh No Peter thought. I started swinging around trying to find Alex.

Alex's POV

Once I was in I found Osborn's computer. I took out a key card that I found that belong to my grandfather Richerd Parker. Once it scanned the card the computer turned on. There were pictures of Spider Man? Why is Osborn intersted in Spider Man? Then I found a file on Spider Man I opened one of them. It mentioned a radioactive spider and reflexes. So he was interested into Spider-Man. Then another file labeled The Goblin Syrum. The Goblin Syrum? Then Another file labeled Eletro incident. 

"What are you doing here Alex?" I turn around and saw Spider Man. "Trying to find something." I simply told him. "What is so important that you had to break into OSCORP?" He said. "I'm trying to find something that I can study so I can show Osborn that I'm not a stupid little boy!" I said very annoyed. "Look Alex your not stupid and you don't need to prove yourself!" He said. "You don't know how it feels to be left alone to be the only boy who needs to feel smart! My mom says that I'm smart like my dad and I want to be just like my dad! So that's why I'm here!" I cried. Tears now were falling down my face.

Peters POV

I felt like a ton of bricks were dropped on me. His son was crying now. He wanted to be just like me. I said "Look Alex please go home your da-" Alex said "My dads gone!" Alex fainted. "He must be developing his powers." I said to myself. I picked up my son and started to take him home.

Once we adrived at the house I knocked on the door. MJ opened the door. "P-Peter?" MJ asked. She looked like she's been crying for a long time. MJ took Alex from my hands and put him on the couch. "How's Emma?" I asked. "She fainted!" MJ cried. "That's what I feared." I said. "What are you talking about?" MJ asked. "I fear their developing powers." I said. "Powers?!" MJ sounded mad. "Yeah but I thought they wouldn't develop powers." I said. "What am I going to do?! They think your dead?!" MJ cried.

"Yeah Ive heard." I said annoyed. "I guess there going to meet there dad when they wake up," I said.
