The Tengu and The Fish

Being a divine priestess can be tiring. Scratch that, it is tiring. Halfway through the day and Kokomi is already worn out. And that's exactly how she ended up here, on Narukami island, panicking. "Gorou! You didn't tell me she would be here!" She whisper-shouted. "She's in the tenryou commission, of course she would be here! Plus she's been wanting one of those shogun dolls for ages." Gorou reminded her. "Oh dear what if she sees me? What if she completely avoids me? What if she's straight and I made things awkward by kissing her-"

"Koko she is the furthest thing from straight. I've caught her staring at the Raiden Shoguns boobs." Gorou said bluntly. "Gorou that is so inappropriate there are people around!" Kokomi shouted. "Koko calm down I'm sure everything will be fine. Let's just go get some books and go on with our day. And if you happen to run into her I'm sure everything will be fine." He said, bringing her into a hug. "I'm so glad I brought you along."

They went on with their day buying books, meeting some friends of the traveler, casually avoiding Miko (for Gorou's sake), and luckily not running into Sara.

Gorou eventually ran off to find kazuha, as Kokomi expected, so she was left alone admiring the festival.
"I noticed you avoiding me." Well that was a short time alone. "Oh- uh Sara! I- uh- wasn't expecting to see you here!" She stuttered. "You saw me earlier and have been avoiding me since. Why?" Sara asked as she stepped closer, her shoes making that familiar clicking sound. "Well-" Kokomi started to say before she was cut off. "Is it about...when you kissed me?" Sara got even closer this time. "Yeah....I'm sorry about that I never should have. You're probably straight anyways and-" Kokomi was cut off yet again but this time it was by Sara's lips on hers. The kiss was short, sweet, loving. "Why would you think that I was straight?" Sara said once their lips parted. "I don't know, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say you aren't." Kokomi said with blush spreading across her face. "Not a bit. Also I was actually sent to find you because Gorou said your boat is here." Sara chuckled. "Oh! Right I totally lost track of time!" She started to walk before Sara grabbed her shoulder. "Are you really leaving without saying goodbye?" She said before kissing her again. "Goodbye Miss Kujou, see you again soon" Kokomi said before running to the docks. She certainly would see her Tengu warrior soon.
