"You–" Troy shouted. He could barely form a sentence from how much he was laughing. "I'm sorry, you have some explaining to do."
"What?" You said, pretending as if you didn't understand what he was talking about.
"What?" He shouted as he imitated you. "Oh, Kylo!" He mocked you.
"I–"
"Kylo," he moaned again and burst into laughter. He gasped. "Are you sleeping with your boss?"
"No," you said sternly. "I just had an interesting dream, that's all."
"A wet dream," Troy corrected you.
"Can we not call it that?" You said, your face heating up out of sheer embarrassment. "I don't want to think about my boss in that way."
"Apparently you already have." He was still laughing.
"Who even let you in?"
"Your mum," Troy said. "Because I'm her favourite."
"You're not even her son."
"I'm the daughter she's always wanted," he said, pretending to cry.
"Right, and I'm just a disappointment."
"No, you're the rich single aunt of the family that minds her own business."
"Troy, I'm 24. I don't want to be an aunt," you said. "That would imply that I have nieces and nephews."
"Alright, get out of bed, old lady," Troy said as he stole the covers away from you.

"Mr Ren's coming down," Emily said as she walked past you.
"What? No." You had been avoiding Mr Ren and his phone calls ever since you had your dream about him. Every time you saw him or his name was mentioned, the images of him pressing you against his kitchen counter flashed through your mind. You couldn't see him now. Especially because you had around seven missed calls from him when he had told you to never decline or ignore them, but you couldn't help it. You were scared of how your confusing emotions would make you react towards him. You weren't even sure if you saw Mr Ren in that way or if it was just a one time thing because of how much time you had been spending with him.
"He's in the elevator right now," Emily said and you stood up from your seat. You had time to escape.
So, you rushed towards the bathrooms, trying your hardest to reach them in the span of fifteen seconds. Luckily, they were on the opposite side of the building and nowhere near the elevator. This time Emily was helping you escape him. Mostly because you had an anxiety attack when he was mentioned the other day and she felt like she was the cause.
You hid in one of the stalls, sitting on the toilet seat. Clearly, this wasn't the first time you'd done this. You had escaped your boss multiple times before by going to this exact location. Only this time, it wasn't because you were afraid of presenting in front of him.
Emily: He wants to talk to you.
You: Who?
Emily: God.
Emily: Mr Ren obviously.
You: Tell him I didn't come into work today.
Emily: I already told him you went to the bathroom.
You: Why? Why would you–
Emily: He's my boss. Now, come over and speak with him.
You sighed as you switched off your phone. As much as you wanted to stay hidden in this small bathroom stall, sitting on the toilet seat, you had to speak to him. You couldn't avoid him for the rest of your life—mostly because you would be fired. You were surprised you weren't already with how childish you were acting.
