Pain and Love - Part 5

Vinay came out of the room and saw Navin lying unconscious on the bed. He could not near him as the doctors were treating him so he came out and saw Abhi in a depressed state. There was no tears, no emotions, she was completely blank sitting on the chair staring at the floor. He moved to her and sat next to her.

" Abhi, Navin seri ayiduvan don't worry. Unkitta pesanum" Vinay started but Abhi showed her hands to stop him. " Ippo illanalum we need to speak Abhi, I have a lot to tell you" Vinay said and moved to the ICU and stood before the door. 

Nurse brought a hospital form for parent's sign and Vinay took it to sign but before he could do Abhi rushed and took the form from him and signed it. Vinay did not argue or stop her knowing he on the fault.

A few hours later doctor confirmed that Navin was good and had got conscious. He led them to meet Navin. Vinay was also about enter but Abhi stopped him. Vinay was completely broken when she stopped him from meeting Navin.

" Abhi nee enna vena punishment kudu but please Navin pakka vidu. Ennala avana pakkama irukka mudiyadh Abhi. Unna kenji kekkuren" Vinay folded his hands infront of her.

She did not stop him further and they went inside.  Abhi hugged Navin and cried looking at his condition. " Amma, azhadha " Navin mumbled slowly. His gaze fell on Vinay and smiled at him. "Vinay " Navin called him and Vinay sat next to him and held his hands and kissed his forehead.

" Ennoda hero is very strong la, just few days apram we will play cricket, bike ride polam, beach polam ellam pannalam seriya. Adhu vara rest eduthu nalla saptu semma strong ah maranum " Vinay cheered Navin.

Navin did not feel comfortable lying in the hospital bed. He asked Vinay to lift to him. Vinay went in to the doctor's room and confirmed if Navin could be moved and lifted. After confirmation he came to the room where Navin was shifted. Vinay lifted Navin and made him sit on his lap and lean on his chest.

Abhi could not hold the tears looking at Navin. how could she forgive Vinay ? How will she keep Navin away from him ? she could not make any decisions but she kept quite and did not speak to Vinay.

Vinay was gently patting Navin's back and his gaze was on Abhi who appeared very weak and broken that made his heart ache.

After Navin slept Vinay laid him on the bed and went out to buy some food for Abhi since it was night and she had not even drank water. He placed the food infront of her on the table and moved to Navin. Abhi did not even touch the food and ignored it.

The memories of the sinful night flashed her. She could still remember her extrovert self and happylife with her parents and brother in Coimbatore. The day when she wore the new yellow salwar with green tusseled shawl that her brother gifted her and the tusseld her mothered made in the shawl especially for Abhi. she went to the temple happily. She never knew that day would turn a curse in her life when she was abducted by few men and made unconcious. All she knew was she woke being naked under a duvet with sharp pains in her body. She cried for hours and then dressed herself . Looking around the room she only saw a cufflink on the floor and picked in her hands and opened the door of the room and knew it was a reputed hotel. She checked with the receptionist the details of the person who had booked the room and took the details with her. 

She returned home and her parents were shocked to see her in that state. Coming from an orthodox family they were scared about the society and did not reveal it out. Her brother had tried reaching the address and the mobile number but everything turned to be fake. They could not find any details of the person who booked the room. They even tried with their well known person from the police department still they could not find any details. Abhi shut herself in the room and did not come out. Her parents and brother stood a moral support to her and made her return a little normal and she joined office. But she lost all the chirpiness and all his friends and office staffs were shocked to see an extrovert Abhi turned intovert completely. All their confrontation got no answers from her.
