Shoko was heartbroken.
Shinomiya, the pink head chef, ghosted her after sleeping with her yesterday- the day the four went to the food park.
"H-he was perfect. A college student who pursues culinary. A guy who's not involved in this world!"
Satoru sweat dropped. He did not understand why Shoko was hurt. It was obvious, the guy looked like the type to do one time things.
"Was he good though?"
Hoshi glared at satoru, wanting to beat him up into a pulp until he learned to shut his mouth.
"God-Yes! He was the best fuck I've ever had. Suguru doesn't compare."
"You slept with suguru?!" Hoshi was frowning, her system unable to process shoko's words.
The boy in question was on a mission. A mission that would change not only his, but everybody's life.
"Yeah, he's not my first though. It was just a one time thing- and no, the morning after wasn't awkward."
The gravity in the air faded, satoru and hoshi listening and comforting Shoko. Well, it was just hoshi who did the comforting and listening. Satoru was just eating in the background.
When she passed out, the two went out of the room, wanting to get food for the night.
They weren't leaving Shoko to wake up alone.
"Why are you comforting her? Aren't you supposed to look away since you also do what shinomiya did to her?" The girl decided to break the silence, pushing the buttons at the vending machine to get banana milk for shoko, and strawberry milk for her.
"She's my friend, I'm not leaving her. Besides, it's been what? Almost 7 months since I actually had a girl."
"I know, satoru. Our rooms are close to each other, I could hear both you and Suguru most nights." The girl deadpanned.
It was dark outside, the moon being the only source of light, other than the lamp posts.
The sky was clear, empty. No stars were around, because they were walking with satoru.
"How's things with that guren guy anyways?"
"Ah, him? I didn't call him, I just never found a reason to."
The white haired boy looked at the girl ridiculously, his head lagging. "Eh? But you were totally killing him with your charm yesterday! You even said he's your ideal type."
"I didn't say that," Hoshi narrowed her eyes, walking towards shoko's room with snacks and drinks. "I said I didn't need to lower my standards because why would i, when I already found someone else who exceeds my own expectations?"
