Angels are the fighters of God. Their forms are different but seen as a mesh of eyes and feathers. However in this world that is viewed in the eyes of Odin could only mean that Angels couldn't exist...
The Soul Stone has created a single angel to p...
Parties or galas as they're called was something Tony was glad he never grew up in. Well he never grew up anyway but that was beside the point. Soul sent him here to look after a certain human that will help change the future. Though he was warned about his... Well... Asshole-ness. Her words, not his.
He held a glass of champagne and walked around under his natural disguise. The people around him avoided him and whispered behind his back about his identity. He wondered why they wouldn't just ask him but pushed the thought aside at seeing the one he's supposed to protect.
His name is Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, a very high profile here on this planet and an abrasive personality. He was a bit taller then Tony with a lean statue and a glass of wine in one hand and a females hand in the other. His hair was a dark black and his eyes that changed color under certain lights. 'Well at least I'm not protecting an ugly asshole. ' Tony thought as he stayed nearby and heard the ongoing conversation.
"- Of course. The mysteries of the mind is only just beginning with the knowledge we have now and only the slightest accomplishment of my own has stretched that, "Stephen said with a downturned expression. Tony took him as the type to not put up a mask and let his emotions free. He was right apparently when the female he was talking too just wasted her drink on his face.
The girl holding his hand just snorts and grabs a napkin from the nearby food bar and gives it to him. "You should have seen that coming, Doctor Strange, " She teased. The doctor rolls his eyes with a tisk as he cleaned what he could of the wine. This was his chance to introduce himself.
"You forgot a spot there. " Both doctor's turned to him, the female with interest and an annoyed look for the male. "Don't worry, happens to the best of us I suppose, " Tony comments with a small smirk.
"And you are, exactly? "Stephen snarks, making the woman slap him on the arm with a few choice words on being nice. "It's okay, I would be pissed with sticky wine soaking my clothing too. My name is Tony, nice to meet you, " Tony puts out his hand for the female first. He didn't know why but he could only guess that he wanted to piss Stephen off for some reason.
"Doctor Christine Palmer, and it's nice to meet you too. This is Doctor Stephen Strange, " she shakes Tony's hand and let's go after a few seconds to introduce man beside her. She didn't obviously think that he would know Stephen... Or his mission, though she was very nice. It was real too.
"Well would it be okay for me to steal Doctor Strange for a few minutes? I want to ask about his work, " Tony noticed the change in Stephen when he mentioned his work. It was quite easy to manipulate people that are so full of themselves. "Of course, he's all yours, Stephen be nice. I'll be over by the interns on the other side. " Stephen sighs as Christine almost practically ran off. It was quite impressive with those heels she was wearing.
"What questions do you have?" Tony asked, surprising the Doctor. "How did you know I wanted to ask YOU something? " Stephen retorts with a raised eyebrow. "You have a very expressive face Doctor Strange, ask away, I'm here all night anyways. " Tony didn't miss the way Stephen's face twitched with interest. Tony stopped himself from rolling his eyes with a smirk.
"You said your first name.. But not your last, what is it? " Stephen asked, setting his empty glass on the table next to them. "Stark." Tony bit his lip at Stephen's response, and hardly kept himself from laughing at his face. "Wait... Are you-" "-Nope. Just so happened to have a similar last name. This is the exact reason that I don't tell people my last name, " Tony interrupts. The Doctor scans Tony's face with a blank expression. "Then why tell me? " Stephen asked. Tony got a bit closer with a smile. "Why indeed? " Stephen swallowed harshly.

Okay, to be honest. Tony didn't expect for whatever that was to happen.
Tony woke up first on Stephen's gray bed, and he noticed that his head was positioned on the other man's chest and could help but to feel a slight hotness on his face. Stephen's hand was curled around him as he slept, what probably was, a full nights sleep. Well it better had been after all they did.
Tony let's out a soft breath and took a second to think. These feelings were unfamiliar and quite honestly a bit scary to him. He didn't know what this feeling was and could only explain it as... Longing... A pull. It was almost criminal at the way this man made him feel. Well, what should Tony expect? He was technically warned by Soul.
"You think too much. " Tony certainly didn't jump as Stephen spoke. Though he did bury his head in the man collar bone a little bit more. "You're one to talk, " Tony responds with a faint smile as Stephen started to mess with his hair. Tony's hair was pulled to make him look at Stephen, and as they leaned in the Doctor's phone went off.
Tony felt another weird feeling as the Doctor groans and moves away from Tony to grab his phone. While Stephen was talking to whoever was on the other side, Tony sat up on the edge of the bed with a covers around him. "Hey, I got to get to work. You can stay if you want but I need to get ready, "Stephen said, grabbing some clothes.
With one glance, Tony was alone in the room with the shower going on in the background. He still didn't know what this feeling was, as his true form edged it's way out from his unbalanced feelings.

It went on like that for a while. When Tony was available and around they would spend the night together and the peacefulness of pure love was there only to fade as Stephen left him alone on the bed.
Soul would look at him with a sad smile and always said the same thing, " It will get better. You're not alone and never will be. " Well he sure felt alone. He may glow a bright yellow but his light seemed to dim when Stephen left him.
He felt like it was an unfair game and Tony was reaching for a level that he could never achieve or grab in his life. The fields of Eve were only so far for someone like him. It's not like he could spend his life with Stephen, as Tony himself could live for billions of years without changing. It was a dream to think he could be with the righteous doctor... Well... Maybe a nightmare.
He still watched from afar and looked as Stephen would captivate every woman that would cross him with a slim dress and big red lips. It was jealousy... That he knew as he felt it when he wasn't like his brothers and sisters. He was a real soul and so he felt real feelings. Stephen didn't know... And he might never find out.
Tony is still wondering....
What makes this doctor so special in the eyes of Soul?
