Beast World Building Things in Another World?

8. Tribe

The view is quite astonishing as I never really left the town we lived in for 18 years on earth. Green leafs the size of my head with a cute tear drop form blending in with others of other sizes and color. The more Soren advances the more they change and the scenary becomes a blur as the wild life engulfs us because of the overgrown unkept weeds. Even making  a pathway to this would be hard for a regular human with a machete. 

We are aproching the edge of the forest where the mountain side is. I am not sure how long this journey is going to take but it seems that whatever was chasing us left  as soon as we got close like an unspoken border made them retreat. Soren runs for another couple of minutes until we reach the moutain edge. There is plenty of farm land and plain in between this moutain and the forest I lived in. 

Hopefully once we get to the tribe I can gather some information and avoid some tragic ending. Soren didn't seem to be fazed by fire or my wierd housing situation but I really wonder how  they live.

-Hey Soren, who was chasing us?

-The River side Wolfs.

-Why?

-I was scouting them for the tribe chief as they have been up to no good recently with the winged monkey tribe. They didn't seem to like that once they got a wiff of my scent.

-So why did they stop chasing us?

-Each clan has a border and beastkin can tell when someone gets into their territory and will actively try to eliminate them if they see them as a threat. They probably thought it wasn't worth exposing themselves to our tribe's wrath just yet.

-Are tribes big  around here?

-Well our tribe has over 300 males and 5 females. The river wolfs are a new tribe of just over 150 males and 2 females. I am not sure of the numbers  because that is what we estimate them to be.

-How long till we get to your tribe?

-We should be there before sundown. Female I need you to cover up more skin. You might create trouble to our clan as the females of our clan are very different in size to you. Let's get going.

-Okay. 

I shrug it off and quickly craft a cloak with a hood that should cover me up to my ankles.  I equip it and get back on Soren's back. It seems Soren is paying attention to my well being which is slowing us down. The mountain side is quite steep and there isn't a certain path to get to the tribe.

Soren's {POV}

This female is wierd but she is very cute. I wonder if she could become my female. I will have to ask the chief when we get back.  She talks way less than the females in our tribe but I am too afraid to spook her away. I am glad she agreed to come with me. She looks very feeble but her skin and hair are very smooth and clear. She seems to be interested in the other tribes too I have to make sure she knows our Moutain side Wolf tribe is the best one. I hope she doesn't reveal herself too much.

6 hours later

Alex's POV

We finally arrived. I try to hide myself as much as I can and not draw too much attention. If women are a very important resource to them in this world  I need to be more careful. I am still very curious on how they live. So i peak through my cloak to look around.

It looks like a waste land there is a shed every now and then and a couple of torch stands, there doesn't seem to be a lot of people outside, maybe there are more people living in a cave somewhere? 

People around look very starved and I can see a very big group of people surrounding a small figure. I am guessing that is a woman of this tribe.

The massive black wolf under me seems hundreds of times more impressive in my eyes now that I seen the state of this tribe. It seems he is the exception not the rule. Most of them are unkept and unwashed and now that I can see her better that woman is not that good looking either. Poofy hair with a large belly and fatty legs. Her hair is very short. She looks more like a cute dragon with short hands.

I am not one to judge since I wasn't very active at the gym before I was forced onto this world. And the situation they are in is deffinetly at fault here.

The wolf suddenly lowered himself, so I quickly get off. He turns back into human.

-We will have to walk from here. I need to report this to the tribe leader. 

So we walk to one of the better looking sheds from the 4 out here. I wonder if they sleep out here.

A very old guy with wrinkles and white hair  but very refined is sitting down on the floor across from us. We get down on our knees and sit. Soren does a little bow to the floor and I quickly follow.

-Chief, I am here to report what I found while scouting the river side tribe.

-Firstly who is this?

He looks at me with a curious look.

-This is a female I found hiding in the forest. 

-Are you a traveler?

-Hello, my name is Alexa and I am of the humans tribe. I lived in the forest nearby for a month I didn't know there are other tribes nearby and I wish to live with you guys.

I say as I remove my cloak.

-Oh my, you certainly have a bright  future in our tribe. You are welcome to stay. But say female how did you live in the forest alone? There is no food there?

Sorry for the gramatical errors this is a draft I will be just writing up to chapter 100 and then I will fix every chapter.
