"Come on, Innie, you practically always get shotgun," Jisung sighed.
"You just feel too awkward sitting beside Minho," Hyunjin stated, "let my boyfriend sit in the front seat."
"It's fine, Jinnie, he can take front seat today," Jeongin nodded as he exited the car to get in the back before anyone else got out to the vehicle.
"Why are you so awkward around Minho anyway?" Hyunjin asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" The younger asked.
"He likes him, Jinnie," Jeongin pointed out, "and doesn't really want to."
"Why don't you want to? He seems nice to you," Hyunjin shrugged.
"He is it's just..." Jisung trailed off, "I don't know. I hated him at one point and then suddenly one day I didn't and it freaks me out cause I feel like he's just messing with me and that he doesn't truly like me."
"I doubt he's messing with you, but I understand your fear," Hyunjin nodded.
"Hey guys," Felix greeted as he approached the car with Changbin and Minho.
"Speak of the devil," Jeongin lightly chuckled.
Minho noted Jisung sitting in the front and frowned. Jeongin noticed and figured he should've stayed in the front seat, but he understood Jisung's way of thinking so he still stuck by his decision to switch.
The car ride was abnormally quiet, no one really spoke. Seungmin and Jeongin playing on their phones, Felix and Changbin were in their own world, Hyunjin and Jisung both focused on the road, while Minho couldn't focus much on anything. He tried looking outside, but his attention was constantly being brought back to Jisung. He felt like he and the younger were right back to where they were weeks prior when Jisung refused to be by the older at any given time. And he hated that.
Minho didn't like the silence. He hated it, in fact. He wanted there to be some sort of noise. And thankfully, Hyunjin turned on the radio and let the music play the rest of the ride to practice. Jisung let his focus drift to that instead, because his mind was beginning to wander a bit too much for his liking. He just wanted to run off and be alone.
Of course, as soon as they arrived; Jisung took off, trying to put distance between himself and Minho. Sure, he wanted to talk to the older, but he was worried about what he would even say to the older male, and about what Minho would say to him. He was freaking out a bit, not that he would show that to anyone besides maybe Felix and Chan cause they had known him for so long, they could see right through him.
Upon having sat in the courtyard for around thirty minutes with very little progress made, he got up and left without a word to Changbin of where he was going. He walked to a nearby park and sat on the swings for a while. It wasn't long before Felix texted and asked where he was. He wanted the company for once, so he spilled his location to the younger and waited for his arrival. It was only about ten minutes, "hey, Ji."
"Hey," the older replied.
"How long have you been here?" Felix asked only to receive a shrug, "what's wrong? Is it the Minho thing again?"
Jisung took a moment before saying, "I was warming up to him, and realized I was staring to fall for him when Eunmi showed up. And she stole his attention of course cause they used to be a thing, and I realized how I feel is more than I really realized and I wanted his attention and I realized that was a selfish think to want and...I got so upset with myself for it. I hated seeing them together and then I realized I was being jealous and that made me more irritated because he's not even mine."
