Ominiscient POV

Naya couldn't help but stare down at her phone in fear. What if Sean heard what just happened between her and Nani? Oh my God, it would be awful. What if he told somebody? Oh God, that would be worse. All these toughts ran through Naya's head as she sat back in her seat, mouth agape.

"Ma, you ok? You look like you just saw a ghost," Nani laughed, but she stopped when Naya showed her the phone. "Wait..so he heard...?"

"I don't know, Nani! Oh my God, I can't do this. He'll be so broken, Nani. I just can't, oh my god." Naya began rambling senselessly, and turned to Nani with a glare fixed on her face after she heard her perfect being laugh very, very hard.

"Nani, this isn't funny! It's serious. What if he tells somebody? Nani, I couldn't handle it. Why are you smiling? Now is not the time" She huffed it all out in one breath while Nani couldn't keep the smile from surfacing.

"I find it cute when you worry." That one sentence put all Naya's worries on the back burner, because she was too busy blushing and looking down.

"Now is so not the time to give me butterflies, Nani," the smaller girl mumbled into her lap, not wanting to look up into her love's eyes, because she knew she'd attack her with kisses if she did.

"I know. I just need you to stop tripping out, because I've got it all figured out," Nani wiggled her eyebrows playfully at Naya as she drove down the long road, "Believe it or not, I've got a million excuses and whatnot for if we ever got caught, by anyone."

"And what is your excuse this time, smart ass?" Naya twirled Nani's hair around her finger out of pure boredom, awaiting an answer.

"Trust me, you're gonna love this one." The deviant grin that spread across Nani's lips low-key scared the Latina.

"She's what?"

Nayarolled her eyes: she's been explaining the same thing to Sean over the phone for the past ten minutes.

"Yes, babe, she's auditioning for Glee, I just helped her rehearse a bit, ok?" She giggled, quite fakely, into the phone, just so her boyfriend would believe her lie, once again.

"But..why? Isn't she just a producer? Can she even sing?" Due to the fact that he was on speaker, Nani scoffed openly at his comment.

"Yes, dipshit. Thank you very much. To produce music you have to know music, and be able to understand and comprehend it. Don't play on me, Sean, cause I will end you-" Naya could see where that argument was going, and she had to put an end to it immediately.

"OKAY! Yes, Sean, Nani can sing. She just wanted to do something different, outside of the studio, so I told her to come audition for the next season. That's all, ok? Don't worry, babe. I'm all yours." She rolled her eyes at Nani, who proceeded to fake gag at Naya's choice of words.

"I believe you, love. I just have a question...Nani, what the hell makes you think you can end me?"

Naya groaned loudly at his stupidity, but let the conversation run, since they both seemed to want to have it.
