Reyna was angry that Sage left her. She tried to calm herself down by grabbing a drink from the fridge, but Reyna just can't catch a break.

"How have you been, Reyna?"

"Don't talk to me."

"Now don't be like that. There may have been... past experiences between us, but we are in a team together."

Reyna threw her cup right pass Sabine's head. The glass shattered against the impact of the wooden cabinet, yet Sabine did not flinch. A smirk was worn on her face after seeing Reyna's pissed expression.

"That sensitive?"

Reyna walked over towards Sabine and grabbed a hold of the scientist's collar. "Listen, Dr. Sabine." She shoved her onto the counter, leaving no room between them. "Don't fucking talk to me unless you want your soul sucked out."

"You're gonna suck the soul out of me?" She scoffed, hinting at a dirty remark. Reyna let go of Sabine and stormed off to look for Sage.

Sabine supported herself against the counter. Her smirk soon transformed into a look of frustration. She clenched her teeth together, feeling the heat rise up into her cheeks "...how pathetic to fall for such ruthlessness..."

Reyna looked around for Sage, not wanting her to spend anymore time with the windrunner. It has been only two hours, but that was more than enough time to talk. Sage was hers. Only hers.

No where in protocol was Sage to be seen. Reyna was getting impatient, as if she was playing a game of hide and seek. She walked near the outside area, just for Jett to run into her. She was about to ask about her girlfriend's whereabouts until she noticed the tears consistently flowing out of Jett's eyes.

"Jett-"

"I'm sorry."

She cried silently, and Reyna wouldn't be able to tell if they hadn't bumped into each other. She turned her focus back to Sage, now realizing what had just happened.

'Did Jett confess?'

'Will Sage leave me?'

'Is Sage okay?'

She ran towards the tree on the hill as the night started to turn a dark blue, littered with white stars. Reyna saw Sage sitting there, wiping her tears... Even though she saw Jett and how apologetic she was, Reyna couldn't forgive her.

"Sage... ¿qué pasa, mi amor?"

Sage turned around to see Reyna coming to sit by her. She didn't know how to feel at the moment, but she desperately wanted some type of comfort... but not from Reyna.

"Jett said something to me... and I feel terrible about it." She sniffled while wiping her nose residue onto her sleeve. "I have overlooked her so much and not only as her mentor, but as her friend too."

Reyna hugged Sage from the side and rubbed the arm her hand rested upon. "Why do you always feel terrible towards Jett?"

"Cause she deserves so much... and I know I can be better for her..."

Reyna stopped moving when she heard that statement. It pissed her off, but it wasn't about her, it was about Sage. "So... what will you do?"

"I don't know, maybe spend more time with her?"

Reyna pulled away from the hug and looked at Sage with worry. "Sage, she has been hurting you for the past month. You can't keep worrying about her. That little sparrow needs to tend to her own wings to fly."
