Eduardo : Well?
Anastasia : Negative.....again.
Eduardo : What if we stop trying for now? I feel that we're trying too hard. Maybe it'll come naturally. When we least think it will.
Anastasia : I guess...
Eduardo : Cheer up Muñeca. It'll come one day.

Anastasia
We decided to try for a baby. We've been trying so hard but nothing. I've taken so many pregnancy tests and nothing. I'm starting to lose hope but Eduardo makes sure I don't. Maybe he's right. We're trying too hard. I guess it'll come when it has to.

Eduardo : We should start getting ready for tonight.
Anastasia : Oh right!! I almost forgot about that!

Anastasia
So tonight is our engagement party. In exactly one month, we'll be married! Time is flying! I'm so excited!

Anastasia : I'm gonna go get ready.
Eduardo : Go on

Anastasia
To start off I took a shower. Then, I did my makeup. I decided to do thick curls with my hair.

-phone call-

Eduardo : Si?
Richard : Uh jefe?
Eduardo : What?
Richard : I have terrible news...
Eduardo : What happened?
Richard : .....Pedro escaped!
Eduardo : What?!!
Anastasia : Eduardo? What's going on?
Eduardo : Don't worry it's something about the cartel..
Anastasia : Okay...-walks away-
Richard : I have our men looking for him as we speak.
Eduardo : I want extra security around the house tonight.
Richard : Got it!
Eduardo : Our main priority is to find him! I want him captured before he can do anything!
Richard : We'll find him jefe! See you tonight. -call ended-

Anastasia : Are you sure everything is okay?
Eduardo : Yeah- Holy shit Muñeca! You look gorgeous...
Anastasia : -smile- Thank you

And to finish off, I wore a long tan sparkly dress with a little slit on my right leg.

Anastasia : Are you sure everything's okay though?
Eduardo : Si mi amor. Tonight is our night. Tonight is a happy night. In just one month we'll be husband and wife.
Anastasia : I can't wait baby. -kiss-
Eduardo : Let's go before I rip that dress off you.
Anastasia : -laugh- Okay okay let's go.

The party will be held at the big Navarro Mansion. We didn't invite much people. Just close friends and allies. The only people I invited were Chris and Jazmin. Eduardo said it was okay despite him being a police because he's shown to be loyal and swore he won't say anything regarding the cartel.

Jazmin : Wow who would've thought the pretty waitress would end up with the big bad boss!
Anastasia : It was my goal but it turned out to be more real than I had planned.
Jazmin : Well I'm happy for you both.
Anastasia : You're going to be my maid of honor right?
Jazmin : You're serious?!
Anastasia : Dead serious!
Jazmin : Ahh!! Hell yeah!
Anastasia : Yay!

Eduardo : Nothing?
Richard : No, they're searching every inch of the city but nothing.
Eduardo : My only worry is what he's planning because he must be planning an attack.
Richard : I don't think he'd kill you.
Eduardo : No he won't kill me but he'll want to kill Anastasia. Not only because of his hate for her last name but because he knows damn well she's my weakness. He'll want to use her to get back at me for choosing her over him.
Richard : Tough situation to be in.
Eduardo : I will always choose her. Over everyone and everything.
Richard : How do you know you're in love?
Eduardo : You eventually realize it.
Richard : How long does it take?
Eduardo : It took me around four months but every relationship is different. Why? You in love?
Richard : I think so..
Eduardo : -laugh- Congratulations
Richard : Thanks!

Anastasia : I'll be back.
Jazmin : Okay

Anastasia
I went upstairs on my way to the bathroom when I felt someone place a gun on the back of my head.

Pedro : Don't. Move. And don't scream or I will shoot!

Anastasia
I froze. I didn't move. I need to play along so I can attack and take him by surprise. He didn't remove his hand either. He started talking right next to my ear.

Anastasia : What do you want?
Pedro : You have two choices.
Anastasia : Okay..?
Pedro : Option one, marry me.
Anastasia : Option two?
Pedro : I kill you!
Anastasia : ...

Anastasia
I stayed quiet for a few seconds.

I quickly pulled out my gun that was strapped to my thigh and shot him.

I ran as fast as I could.

I don't know if it did much damage but I didn't have time to look. My first instinct was to run but he grabbed my arm pushing me out to the rooftop.

I pointed my gun at him.
He pointed his back at me.

Pedro : If you're going to kill me then kill me!! Or what are you waiting for? Are you not brave enough to do it?
Anastasia : ...
Eduardo : I am!

Anastasia
And then- Eduardo came out. He stood in front of me aiming his gun at Pedro while four men and Richard stood behind me.

Eduardo : Take her inside.
Guard : Si jefe

Anastasia
I felt one of the guards gently grab my arm to lead me inside so I went along to make it easier for them but I'm scared for Eduardo...

Pedro : You?! You're going to kill me?! You're going to kill your own father?!
Eduardo : YOU POINTED A GUN WITH THE INTENTION TO KILL THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! I'M SORRY BUT THAT'S SOMETHING I DON'T FORGIVE! NOT YOU OR ANYONE!!
Richard : According to my research, Mr Pedro Navarro, you killed your brother and his wife, Ernesto and Julia Navarro, Eduardo's biological parents.
Pedro : That's not true!
Eduardo : You're.....you're not my father?!
Pedro : A real father is not the one who gave you life, it's the one who raises you and that's me!!
Eduardo : YOU KILLED MY PARENTS?!
Richard : Ernesto was supposed to be the leader of The Juarez Cartel. Pedro wanted the throne. The only way to gain it was to kill him.
Eduardo : You son of a bitch...

Eduardo
In a split second, Pedro shot Richard causing him to fall to the ground.

As soon as Richard fell, I gave Pedro five of my bullets killing him. I bent down to check on Richard.

Anastasia
As soon as I heard the gunshots I ran back outside. The guards ran behind me.

Anastasia : Eduardo!! Oh my god..
Jazmin : Richie!!!
Eduardo : Get the doctor and call an ambulance!!!!
Guard : Si jefe!

Anastasia
Jazmin couldn't hold it in. She bent down next to Richard and started crying.

Anastasia : He's going to be okay. He's strong! He'll pull through!
Jazmin : H-his pulse is.....weak...
Doctor : Move move move!!!

Anastasia
We all stood up so the doctor could do his job. I turned to the side and realized Pedro was dead. I looked back at Eduardo and hugged him.

Anastasia : I was scared! When I heard the gunshots I thought it was at you...
Eduardo : I'm okay, he didn't do anything to me..
Anastasia : Who did it?
Eduardo : He shot Richard and I killed him.
Anastasia : You.....?
Eduardo : He wasn't my real father.
Anastasia : What..?
Eduardo : He killed my parents to gain the Cartel.
Anastasia : Oh my god....Eduardo...
Doctor : He needs to go to the hospital he's losing a lot of blood!!
