"Yeah, everybody's dead" Damon said happily as his hand came through the apartment door.
"Contain your glee, idiot" I roll my eyes pushing him into the Matins apartment.
That morning I had talked to Bonnie about something I saw in Jonas's mind and she offered to come along with me on a mission. Pick up Matins' grimoires. I found out when I was searching he mind that there was a spell that would help us against Klaus and bonus I thought I'd get some grimoires for myself, maybe there's something in them that could help me find my lost sister.
With everything that has happened, I ended up putting aside what mattered most to me.
"Let's keep the grimoires. They've been collecting them for years, I want to make sure they're safe" Bonnie murmured, I agree trying to avoid Luka's charred body.
"We can light a match and cremate them both" Damon scoffed, stopping next to the corpse.
"You sound kind of bitter Dominic, no offense" I say, but I feel a little guilty for causing Luka's father's death.
"I took offense" He pouts.
"Don't be disrespectful, not to him" Bonnie chides looking at the body sadly.
"Okay, I'll bury it".
"What are we really looking for?" Jeremy asks, stopping beside me.
"According to Jonas, one of those books has a spell that will help us absorb energy from a witch when he dies violently" I explain softly picking up a book from the floor.
"How do you know?" Damon questioned me.
"I looked into Jonas's mind after giving Bonnie her powers back" I explain glancing at him.
