"We've all come a long way. From bombs and starvation and zombies to making it. I am honored to announce that the world is free of zombies! We can now build again. We can now let our children play in the backyard without worrying! This is an extra chance! We can finally have world peace! Everyone worked for it! But a HUGE thanks to god." The humongous crowd cheered.
I held Malissa hand as she held our baby boy.
"So party hard this entire weekend! Because starting Monday we will be back to work. Growing and growing!" Bella said over the microphone.
I pulled Malissa into a kiss as we celebrated. Everyone hugged everyone. Bella hugged and kissed Ava. My kids hugged and kissed their loved ones. Amelia kissed Nora. Mom and dad kissed. Even Malissa parents.
My heart purred in delight.
Everyone was finally happy.
Even if only last a weekend.
No Racism.
No politics.
No government.
Just a few people who survived all three of those things.
