Moon had stayed with her all night, occasionally checking on her whenever she made a thrashing movement or a frightened whimper, which happened a lot through the night. But he managed to soothe her through it, whispering reassurances and humming soft lullabies.

And soon, the soft burn of the morning sun came, shining its warmth through the front windows of the Pizzaplex.

9am had arrived and with it, so had the morning shift. All the human staff started filing in, yawning, eating a quick breakfast and sipping their coffee.

Chatter outside the Daycare seemed to alert Moon. None knew that she was here and if that changed, she would most certainly be taken away. He didn't want to wake her up, as it seemed she desperately needed her rest, but he needed to hide her.

He placed his hand on her shoulder to gently shake her awake, but the touch alone was enough to startle her. Her breathing was immediately erratic and she scrambled to get away, falling off the pillows she slept on.

"Hey it's okay! It's just me. Just Moon. You remember, right? Sun and I helped patch you up? Well mostly Sun. I just danced around."

He tried talking her down from her rapidly approaching panic attack. And it was working. For a few moments, her vision was blurry and all she saw was a darkened silhouette, thinking it was her father. But once Moon started talking, it brought her thoughts slowly back on track. Her vision began to clear and her breathing started calming. She sat up to look at him and he seemed to relax that she was no longer panicking.

"Good girl. Now I don't mean to alarm you, but the morning staff are here. They're going to come in here any minute to check on us and the Daycare. I don't want them to find you so would it be alright for, just this once, I carry you up to the balcony and find some place to hide you?"

He kept calm but there was also a sense of urgency in his voice. In any other circumstance, she would have downright refused. But if the people found her, she would be taken away and most likely, be given back to her dad. That made her start panicking until she felt him gently hold her tiny hands.

"Listen to me. I am not going to let them take you. Sun won't either. But you have to trust us. I swear I will put you down once we're up there. Okay?"

She looked at him and to the door, where on the other side, the staff was getting closer. She had no time left. She nodded and he immediately scooped her up in his arms. A cable came down from the ceiling, hooked onto something attached to his back and off the ground they came. Frightened, she held onto him and vice versa.

Once on the balcony, the cable detached and he carried her into his and Sun's room. He looked around for a good hiding spot. Sun, who was already powered on, smiled as he saw the two enter.

"Well good morning! I hope everyone had a good night's sleep! I know I did! Moon, why do you look so panicked? Did she get injured again? Is she okay?!"

Moon put his hand on his counterpart's mouth to silence him.

"She's not going to be if the staff finds her here. So stop talking so loud and help me hide her until they leave!"

The realization finally dawned on Sun's face and he frantically looked around. Their room was rather messy. There were pinatas of different varieties strewn about as well as crates, boxes, dolls of them and the other animatronics, toys, a playhouse, and a bit of trash. There was a smaller room adjacent to this one. The only entrance being a small circular hole in the wall, similar to the tubes in the play structures.

"No one goes in there much. Hide her there and make sure to hide her well. Sunshine, you have to make sure you don't make a sound, alright? I don't want them taking you away."

Sun told her and she gave him a frightened nod. Moon carefully shuffled through the tight opening. It was barely big enough for him to fit. Once inside, he set her down in a corner and gathered boxes to stack in front of her, in case someone intended to come in here.

"Now you stay right here and try to be as quiet as possible. I have to power down because my battery is almost empty so Sun will make sure no one comes in here. But I can promise you, no one is taking you anywhere. Once they're gone, Sun will come to get you, okay?"

There was worry and fear in her eyes. She was terrified but for the first time in her life, she was going to try to trust these robots. She gave a confirming nod and he smiled in return.

"Glad you understand. I will see you in a bit, starlight~"

With hesitation, he leaves the room to go back to Sun. As soon as he's on his feet, Sun is in his face, rattling off questions.
