Chapter 3: We Meet Again

Takes place 2 months after 'the accident'

Riley:

His dark brown eyes never left my mind. After that day, I never saw him again. It shouldn't be a big deal. I still don't why it is.

2 months have passed, I got the job at Oz-Tech, and my brother is almost finished college.

There were no problems in my life. 

I had to stop letting myself think about it.

"Are you getting on or not?" Stephanie said while sitting in the Ferris wheel seat.

I was distracted in my thoughts again.

"Yeah", I replied quietly while sitting beside her, being in the middle of her and Chloe.

Today was the Spring Carnival in our neighborhood. There were games, rides, restaurants, everything. It was getting dark, but that just meant it was the best time to be there.

I came with Stephanie and Chloe of course. They were my best friends. And they forced me to come. Not that I didn't want to, we were having an amazing time.

I laughed will watching Stephanie scream at the top of the wheel when we stopped. I hid my face to the side a bit in embarrassment. She was the only one screaming.

One glance was all it took.

"Oh my god...." I mumbled, slowly processing what I just saw.

I stared down at him.

My friends started to wonder what the heck I was staring at, and with an emotionless face.

"What's wrong?" Chloe started, forcing me to face her instead of him.

"I saw him"

"Saw who?"

"Him"

"Him?"

"The mystery guy that saved my life." I stared blankly at her.

"Is this Ferris wheel ever going move?" I said annoyed. I was losing sight of him, and I needed to catch up and talk to him. Meet him. I wanted to know him, and why he saved my life.
