Chapter-17

Within the kitchen of the Darby house June, Jack and Arcee were sitting at the table eating pancakes for breakfast, but Arcee seemed distracted by something.

"Something wrong Arcee?" June asked.

The former two wheeler took a bite of her pancake before replying "I don't know, I just got this feeling that I've forgotten something."

"Homework?" the nurse said.

Arcee shook her head "No I got all that finished but theres something in the back of mind bothering me."

"I wouldn't worry about it" Jack said before taking a sip of orange juice "If it was really important you wouldn't have forgotten it in the first place."

Arcee thought about it for a moment "Good point Jack." she said pouring some syrup on her pancakes.

Jack smiled "Glad I could help, now quit hogging the syrup!"

Arcee then realised she hadn't let go of the syrup bottle since she sat down at the table "Sorry." she handed it to Jack.

Once breakfast was finished and they dishes put away, June said goodbye to Jack and Arcee before getting in her car and heading to the hospital. A few minutes later Wheeljack arrived in vehicle mode and pulled up in front of the house, the two of them got their things and once they were buckled in they headed to the school.

"So, expecting anything exciting today?" the Wrecker asked.

"Well its high school so no" Jack said leaning back in his seat "I predict another boring day."

"Don't be so sure Jack" Arcee cut in "When everythings quite, that's when something big usually happens."

A few minutes later they arrived at the school, after saying goodbye to Wheeljack they headed inside, but before they could get to their classes the Principles voice was heard over the intercom.

"Attention all students this is Principle Williams speaking." he began "Just a reminder, all 10th grade boys are to report to the chemistry lab and all the girls are to report the biology lab. Once your all there the Sex Ed classes will begin, I expect everyone to be mature about this. That is all." the intercom went silent.

"Sex Ed!" Jack said in shock.

"Right that what it was." Arcee said out loud.

"What?" Jacks asked confused.

"The Sex Ed class, that's what I forgot." she said.

"Wait you knew about this." he said.

"Last Friday Principle Williams came over to me and told me that there was going to be Sex Ed classes today and asked me to let you know. He also said that the intercom was down which was why he didn't just announce it." Arcee explained.

"Last Friday," Jacks eyes widened "Why didn't you tell me during the weekend?"

Arcee raised an eyebrow "Because I forgot." she like it was obvious "Anyway I'll see you after class." she started walking away.

"Wait Arc... I mean Sadie" Jack called "You don't know what this class is."

Arcee turned around and smiled at him "How bad could it be?" she shrugged her shoulders before heading to the biology lab.

"You have no idea." Jack said watching her go.

"Mr Darby" he turned around to see Mr Green the math teacher "You heard the announcement, get to the chemistry lab." he raised his hand and pointed down the hall.

Jack let out a sigh before walking down the hall towards the class with one thought going through his mind "No amount of battles could have prepared Arcee for this."
