This part of the story is short but it will get longer I swear
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was currently 6 am and my sister and I had to leave at exactly 7:15 . When I finally got the energy to wake up, I got on my slippers and took a nice, cool sip of water that was sitting next to me on my bedside table. Then, it hit me that it was the first day of our year at Hogwarts.
“O. M. G!” I half screamed.
I went over to Hermione's bed and started jumping on it like crazy. What can I say? I was excited - sure, I was really nervous - but I was also really excited.
“Hermione, get up! GET UP!” I shouted excitedly.
“What, Emerson? It's so early.” she mumbled.
“It's our first day at Hogwarts 'mione!”
It seemed like she just got shocked. She sat up so quickly I think she ended up light headed.
After a bunch of running around and getting last minute things together we were off on our way to Hogwarts. Where I would soon find some real best friends, enemies, and maybe even - if I'm lucky enough - love.
