"Hurry Rick, the bus is here," mom told me.
"coming mommy," I replied
I jumped down the last two stair steps. I ran up to my mom, gave her a nice warm hug, and a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you mom," I said with emotion. It was the first day of school. I was in kindergarten. I ran to my dad. I remember giving him a hug, but not as meaningful as the one I gave my mom. This one was more shallow, less meaningful.
"love you, Dad," I said running out the door to catch the bus.
Later that day
"How was your first-day honey," mom asked
"I loved it, mom. We played, and I learned to add. I found my seat in class. And you know what mom,
Dave was there too!"
"did you have fun?" asked dad
"yeah! My teacher gave me a book to read so I'm gonna read it."Start writing your story
