The warm air hit my bare legs as I walked outside. The smell of fresh cut grass fills my nose. The sound of children playing and dogs barking filled the my ears. Today is going to be great, I can just feel it deep down.

"Venessa!" Screamed a girl who once was my best friend in third grade but we just grew apart an are just friends her name well I just call her jojo.
"Yeah?" I scream back across the street.
"Wanna come to the movies tonight?" She asks with excitement in her voice.
"Can't, sorry, I'm going to the mall with Amber." I shout back
She smiles, nods, then walks off.
I sit on the porch reading when a drop of cold water hit my arm. I jumped not ready for that cold water.
I looked up at the sky, it was grey, cloudy and rainy. It was still warm though.
I went Inside and helped my mother cook dinner. After dinner I was so tired I plopped on my bed and fell in a deep sleep.

When I woke up it was almost time to go to the mall with Amber and I only had 30 minutes to get dressed and ready to go.
I went through all my cloths and finally found a nice short pink summer dress so I put that on and did my makeup to match.
I curled my hair and slipped on some black flats. Then walked out the door.
Amber was sitting there in her car when I walked out.
I got in and she handed me a neckless, it was a very cute best friend neckless.
"Thanks amber! It's so pretty" I said with joy in my tone.
She smiled and we drove off.
