Chapter 6 (:

After an hour or so of laying in bed on my phone I finally decided to get up and get dressed.
I put on a flower print shirt and some ripped up shorts.
"Ness!" My mother called up the stairs. Ugh I hated when she called me that.
"Yes mum?" I called down the stairs.
She didn't answer so I walked down the stairs.
"Have any plans for today?" My mother asked as she grabbed my fathers plate from beneath him.
"Umm I'm not sure, why do you ask?" I replied.
"Well me and your father want to go out and we were wondering if you would like to go?" She asked in a hopeful voice. She knows I usually don't like to go out on Sundays an she also knows I don't like going on "family adventures" so they call it, but today if amber can't hang out I might as well go. I mean what else am I going to do?
"I'm going to ask amber if she wants to hang out today and if she can't then I will go, alright?" I said as I stated my way up the stairs.
When I got to my room I picked up my phone and dialed her number.
"Hey! What's up?" Amber answered
"Are you up to hang out or no?" I said
"Umm not today, my mum wants me to have a "family" day that doesn't really exist" she says with a sad tone
"Yeah my mum wants me to hang out with her as well, umm talk to you later then?" I asked
"Yeah for sure, bye!"
I hung up and turned my phone off.
"Hey mum I'm coming with you and dad!" I yelled down the stairs.
I finished my make up and walked down stairs.
We got in the car and left.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we drive
"Well I wanted to take you out for lunch. Then me and your father have some things we have to do and I was going to give you money for the mall. Does that sound alright?" She said
"Yeah mum that's sounds great!" I replied to her as we pulled into her favorite restaurant (Denny's)
