Gen 1 Glitches

Here are some bizarre and interesting glitches I've looked up for the Pokemon games Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green.

So, each game version has varying glitches that can be very hard or very simple to exploit.

First, I'll go over harmless glitches.

Exclusive to Yellow version, you can make your Pikachu have a better bond with you in a matter of minutes. Using Poitions on him and winning battles raise his happiness level naturally, but it takes time.

Making Pikachu happy fast is easy. At the beginning of the game, take the Poition out of your PC. After obtaining Pikachu, use the potion on him TONS of times, then talk to him.

Hearts will be floating around him, indicating he now likes you!

A glitch that can be found in all versions is instantly getting a level 100 Pokemon. To do this, you have to go through a series of complicated steps, (Which I forgot), to obtain a level one Pokemon.

After obtaining the Pokemon, find a very low level wild Pokemon to battle. Switch out the level one Pokemon with all your other Pokemon, then defeat the wild Pokemon.

This is how the glitch happens: Say the level 1 Pokemon needs 35 Experience points to level up. Since you switched out all your Pokemon, it may have only gained 10 EXP. Then, BAM, it's level 100. Since the game was never programmed to have level 1 Pokemon, it freaked out and gave it

so much EXP that it got to lvl 100.

The coolest part is you don't need any badges to make the 100 level Pokemon obey you.
