if it was alright to say that they were safe and sound , they would be disappointed , or frightened afterwards.

the anemo archon , barbatos , sent his speculations towards the children of mondstadt. he knew and the archons that it was no coincidence , as if it was. even being a divine punishment itself wasn't true , after all , no gods couldn't bring the whole teyvat into such tragedy

even the geo archon himself with such intelligence couldn't put a finger in it

all they knew was that it came out of nowhere , the rumors spread itself that is likely with no imformation

and they couldn't deny it , it was the truth after all.

truth to be told , it was all that he felt after he opened his eyelids under a fresh sunrise. rather , one loud morning was all he could describe

"quick! or he'll scold us later on" someone cried out of nervousness , "go there , or that one—"

he could feel the deadpanned expression from that tone , from a voice that was dragging him.

the male shoot awake as soon as he realized

he quickly pulled his hands back and pushed the other one at his side , resulting for both of them laying on the grass

the other one from his side lets out a grunt , still shocked from the swift movement. and then a slight gasp was heard from behind

"aether! stranger! you both alright?" a floating creature flew towards this aether and helped him to sit up (not like it helped but ty)

aether nodded and held the back of his head for it hit the ground

as for the other's perspective , [m/n] was inbetween amused and confusion. he held a stare towards the floating creature

[m/n] stood awkwardly eyeing the two , suspicion and confusion was for the both of them. aether noticed this then pulled himself together

"apologies , i was just wandering around then saw you taking a nap near the hilichurl camp.." he uttered , "so i just moved you far away from them then—"

"..hilichurl camp?"

"yeah , hilichurl camp" aether would lie of he did say that this is not getting awkward at all

he looked at the male before him , he wasn't quite sure at all but he can see that the other was confused and curious , "do you even know what is a hilichurl camp?"

"no , not at all. is it an organization?"
