𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒 ; sᴀɢᴀᴜ ( 𝐠.𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 )

𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 , an eye for an eye

step every step , the sounds of the shoe clicking as the grass sway around , birds flee from the sky as the three walked — for the flying child's case , well.. flying of course , to the harbor

it was oddly quiet for the taller man as he expected a few bickering here and there from the two

and as for the traveler and paimon , the walk was comfortable despite the silence lingering around them

feeling quite uneasy for the two , [m/n] spoke up

"did you both ate something again?"

the two was quick to stop on their tracks , aether goes with a quiet hum of confusion while paimon twirled around [m/n]. "hehe , paimon was just so lucky that paimon finally met you!"

the [h/c]-ette man stared at the floating child's behavior before staring at the other one

aether seems to notice his gaze then looks at the other way , he was nervous.. especially when the other had such eyes

"ah there's nothing wrong , my grace , i'm just saving up my energy to argue again later" he joked around , ignoring paimon's rants

[m/n] looked at the two , regretting to cause a bicker. but it was worth it though

he tugged his lips upwards and let out a chuckle heartily

aether and paimon broke their supposed to be roast at each other when they heard one's chuckle , it was just so pretty..?

he's the divine one afterall so they understood , "save that for later you two , let's continue our exploration"

after the 50 minute walk , [m/n] layed aether down into a comfortable position with a smooth rock to support his upper body

then he gently placed the sleeping paimon to the traveler's side

[m/n] smiled at their sleeping face before he sat himself down beside the sleeping boy to have a break

during the walk , paimon yawned and rubbed her eyes but unfortunately , her eyelids gave up on her

she ended up sleeping at aether's arms as she make herself comfortable enough

as for aether , he didn't saved enough energy unlike he said a few minutes ago

his legs gave out and flushed in embarrassment when [m/n] offered to carry him , especially when he was carrying a sleeping paimon

the traveler was hesitant at first

but when [m/n] said it was an order , he gave up

surprisingly , his arms were warm enough and comfortable then soon drifted into slumber when adrenaline caught up

[m/n] wouldn't admit that it was adorable to see the two who always bicker around being sweet at each other

he then adjusted his position to where he can see the surroundings around him widely

not just appreciating the beauty , but also feeling an eye watching not too long ago

after locating it , the [h/c]-ette exhaled then shifted his body to move closer at the sleeping duo beside him , if the specter ever attack them

averting his eyes away , he eyes the harbor not too far below them

it seems that they were preparing for an event or something , he was already aware of it thanks to xiao's explanation

the lanterns filled up the whole street of the harbor , childrens were running around and the elders offer their gratitude on their most worshipped statue

the sun is still not drowning itself at the side of the sea , he thought that lanterns would look attractive if it was lightened later at night

so.. a nap wouldn't hurt for the two beside him , right? plus he'll be there to watch over them and soon will attend the event after the shallow darkness engulfed the sky

— golden eyes were focused at the divine being , he was already there , back in safety , they still couldn't believe that patience actually works this time..

— [m/n] stumbled on a fruit stand and went to buy some , unfortunately , he forgot he didn't bring mora and doesn't want to wake up aether. he didn't want the owner to recognise him either so.. he sneaked his hands and disappeared too fast making the owner think that they just met a ghost
