Hello and welcome to the (very long awaited) Finale of Iridescent! I'm sorry about how long it took me to post this chapter. I know i'm gonna say something again at the end of this chapter, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who read this story. I put so much effort into it and the response has been mind-numbing. You guys have given me enough confidence in my writing to try and go for a creative writing major in college and without you i'd be going into history or something way less interesting. And another thing. As for the Zayn thing, that contributed to a big chunk of the wait on this chapter. I gave myself a day or two while everything was going on because I was so upset about it. Please, never stop including him in your fanfictions or anything. And dont let anyone make fun of you for being seriously upset about this. He was a big part of your life for nearly 5 years so you have every reason to be sad. Just be thankful he's doing better for himself. I'll rant some more later. Enjoy**

Harry Pov -

I couldn't describe the feeling. It was something completely foreign to me.

The moment the blade sank into Clary's chest, all the air inside of me was ripped out, leaving me feeling like I was suffocating. I saw the radiant green light begin to vanish from her eyes and everything that had ever happened to me was no longer important. I heard a few swallowed cries from behind me but I had tunnel vision for my girlfriend's dead body.

Jonathan had a sickening smile on his face, only ripping me apart even further.

Fuck that.

I was seeing red like i've never seen it before, completely consumed by hatred and despair. I ripped my dagger out of the loop of my pants and gripped it firmly, and I saw the others doing as well. I took one step forward and soon Jace was standing right next to me. I never thought I would be fighting along side him.

We all charged at the deadly psychopath standing with his feet in the water, and for once, I was in the front lines.

Jonathan picked up the mortal sword, still stained with Clary's blood, but tried making a portal. We had Magnus however, and he easily stopped the black magic from giving him an escape route. While he was surprised, I slashed my dagger across his cheek, leaving a clean cut under his eye. Jace's voice invaded my ears. "Get him to the ground! I have a plan!" As much as I wanted to tear him to pieces, I listened to Jace. I looked back at Jonathan just in time to see his fist coming to my face. The runes on my body reacted for me. I caught his fist in my hand, gripping it tightly and twisting it behind his back. He grunted at me and pushed his weight backwards to try and headbutt me. During his attempt, Alec grabbed his arm and Jace switched places with me. I grabbed his other arm and Alec and I tugged his struggling body to the ground. Louis and Liam were at his feet, both with the memory of tears in their eyes. I'm sure I looked similar. Everyone did.

The others were all waiting with weapons right behind us. Jace spoke up. "He's part demon. We can't kill him." I shot him an angry look. "Then what do you suppose we do then?!" Jon thrashed from under our grip but at the same time let out a chilling cackle. "Do what Clary did to Valentine. She used a rune to wipe everything away from him before he died. We could give him a clean slate and ship him off somewhere. You like that, asshole? How does the City of Bones sound to you? Nice and cozy down there. It might get a bit stuffy after an eternity or so, but I'll bet you'd get over it!" Jace yelled sarcastically at him. "I don't know the rune she used. She never showed me..." Everyone's eyes darkened in thought while Jonathan continued to struggle. "Harry, you're a type of shadowhunter that's never been heard of before. You guys are all different. Clary made you. Maybe if we're lucky, you got some of her talents during the process. It's a long shot, but its not nothing." I looked around at everyone around me, their eyes all clouded with tears and the atmosphere choking on its own tension. Simon, who I had never meet before today, was begging my with his eyes to do something. I could see Clary's body over his shoulder and looked down onto my lap.
