Trouble on the train
"Tickets please" She shouted, golden hair almost glowing in the sunlight, her voice sweet, no negativity could be heard. "Tickets please," she edged closer and closer, only two seats away. "Tickets please." I felt like I was going to be sick. "Madam-" she started, my heart stopped. "do you have a ticket madam?" she asked, no anger or aggressiveness, only kindness. I calmed down, I don't know why but there was something in her voice, I don't know what, "I'm afraid I don't have one ma'am" I said, you could hear the nervousness in my voice, "..." silence filled the room. Her expression changed, not to one of anger, but to one a mix of confusion and curiosity. "Do you know how a train works madam?" she asked patiently, I thought carefully in how i would answer, ...
