Aimee sighed as she woke in bed. Simon wasn't there. But she heard movement from the kitchen.

She quickly grabbed her dressing gown and went into the kitchen. She saw Simon standing at the cooker with his phone in his hand. "Hey. Morning."

"Hey. Grace is out of hospital with the baby. So I'm going to go over and see her before work. Do you wanna come with me?" Aimee asked as she looked to him.

Simon shook his head and smiled. "It's alright. I'll let you go and meet your niece. I'll see you at work," he told her.

Aimee nodded and sighed. She couldn't help but feel like there was something going on with him. She just wanted to get things back to how they used to be.

Aimee walked into Grace's new place. She smiled as she looked to Max. "Congratulations daddy."

"Thanks. She's a real beauty. Go on through. Grace is in the living room," Max said.

Aimee walked into the living room. She sat down and looked to her sister. "Okay. But she's just the cutest! Can I hold her?" She asked.

Grace handed her daughter over to her sister. She smiled. "Her name is Isabelle-Aimee. Named after my favourite sister."

"I'm your only sister."

"Doesn't mean you have to be my favourite. But yeah... I don't recommend labour. It's horrible. I'm on fire down there," Grace told her.

Aimee smirked. "Well I'm having to do this myself in a few months. But I can't wait. Especially if my baby is as cute as this one," she said.

Grace looked to her. "Is everything okay? You seem offish."

Aimee sighed as she looked to her. "I think Simon and I are having issues. But he's not said anything to me about it. He hasn't been distant with me."

"I don't see your point. What bought this on?"

Aimee sighed. "He told me that he still had some feelings for Sue. And I just.. I don't know. Maybe he regrets me and him getting together," she admitted.

Grace rolled her eyes. "Yeah. I doubt that. If he didn't want you, then he wouldn't have slept with you. He wouldn't have gotten you pregnant. Trust me," she told her.

Aimee went into work. She saw Simon standing with Sue and walked over to him. "Hey babe. How are you?" She asked.

Simon nodded. "I'm good. I'll see you later."

Aimee watched as he walked off. Sue turned to her. "He told me today. That you and him were a mistake. That he's only with you because you're pregnant."

"You're lying."

Sue shook her head. "No I wish I was. He doesn't want you anymore."

Aimee said nothing else as she walked off inside. She sighed. She couldn't help but let the tears fall.

Aimee was sitting in the staffroom. She looked up as Max walked in. He frowned. "Hey. What's up?" He asked.

"Simon... he said he's only with me because of the baby."

"He said that to you?"

Aimee shook her head. "Not at all. He said it to Sue. Sue bloody Spark of all people. Why? What could I have possibly done for him to say that?" She all but sobbed.

Max pulled her into an hug. He smiled. "It will be okay. I promise you."

"Really? Will it really?"

Max nodded and smiled. "Yes."

Aimee smiled to Max and sighed. Unaware of how Simon had seen the interaction with them both.

And he was hurt that she had cheated with Max. Or so he thought.
