Tw: panic attack, overthinking
Age: 14
*not proofread*Y/n's pov:
Today I had an interview with my mom at 3. I was nervous because I hate to speak in front of people. This was my 7th in interview but I'm still anxious about it. I was eating breakfast at the kitchen island and my mom was washing her plate because she was done eating. I suddenly lost my appetite for some reason I don't know.
"Thank you for breakfast mom. It was delicious" I said standing up kissing her cheek.
She looked at my plate which still had pretty much food on it and then she looked at me with an concerned look.
"Aren't you going to eat more honey?" She asked me with clear concern in her voice.
"I'm full. But it was delicious mom. Thank you" I said kissing her cheek again before going up the stairs to my room.
It was a little while later and I decided that I was going to pick out some clothes for the interview later. I opened up my closet and started looking through my clothes. I didn't know what to wear. I was scared that if I dressed up too much people would say that I was trying too hard. And if I didn't dress up enough they would say that I didn't try hard enough.
I eventually gave up and jumped on my bed starring at the ceiling. What if I mess up at the interview? What if I panic and cry on camera? Everyone would say that I am pathetic. And my overthinking goes on and on until I hear a knock at my door.
Lizzie's pov:
Y/n didn't eat much breakfast today, and that wasn't like her at all. She would always eat her breakfast not leaving a piece left.
I was now going upstairs to her room because we need to get ready for our interview, and I wanted to see if she had picked out any clothes.
When I got to her door I knocked respecting her privacy.
"Come in" y/n said in a low voice. I slowly opened the door to find her at her bed starring at the ceiling zoned out.
I walked over to her and sat down beside her. I took a piece of her hair and played with it a little before tucking it behind her ear.
"Have you picked something out to wear?" I asked her so I could know if she needed help to pick out her clothes.
"No I don't know what to wear. It feels like if I dress up too much people are going to say that I am trying too hard and I I don't dress up much people are going to say that I'm not trying hard enough" she answered honestly now sitting up to look at me.
"I know how it feels like. But they're not going to judge to because of what you wear. Do you want me to help pick out something?"i asked her and she nodded.
I walked over to her closet and started to look through her clothes. I found a nice cute white dress. I took it out and showed it to her.
Y/n's pov:
My mom showed me a white dress. It was kinda cute so I decided to try it on. I walked into the bathroom and put it on.
