Zayn Malik: soon to be 15, Freshman. Son of General Yaser Malik of the British SAS and Gemma (Styles) Malik. Currently lives with his Uncles Liam and Harry (Harry being his mother's brother). Zayn's mother died when the boy was two, and since the age of five he's been moving in and out of his uncles home due to his father constantly leaving on deployment.
Niall Payne: 16, Sophomore. Son of Liam and Harry Payne. Grown up treating Zayn as a little brother, and makes sure no one messes with him at school. Class clown but also knows how to get down to business when need be.
Louis Payne: recently turned 17, Junior. Oldest son of Liam and Harry Payne. Practically the king of the school, being his third year on the varsity football team and he's already captain! Always makes sure Zayn and Niall are okay before himself even though he won't admit it at time.
Liam Payne: Papa/Pops. Firefighter/paramedic. Married to his husband for 19 years. When people ask him about his kids it's almost natural instinct to say he has three rather than two.
Harry Payne: Dad. Owner of Harry the Baker, bakery. Younger brother of Gemma Styles. The day his sister passed, he promised not only her but himself that he would make sure her son grew up in a loving home, and that if something were to ever happen to Yaser he would take Zayn in.
