Epilogue

Three years later.

"I can't believe you're graduating!" Harry says as he wipes a tear from the corner of his eye.

"I can't believe you shaved your head a week before graduation!" Louis decided to point out.

"People, why are we avoiding the real shocker here?! Zayn's the fucking valedictorian!" Niall exclaims only to receive a slap to the back of his head.

"For fucks sake! No cursing before noon!" Liam exclaims which only causes Niall and Louis to break out laughing.

"My littlest baby, I can't believe you're graduating," Harry continues to cry only for Zayn to laugh before pulling the man in for a hug.

"Uncle Harry it's just high school! I'm still gonna be here for majority of the summer. I'm not leaving you yet," Zayn says with a small laugh as Harry pushes away from the boy.

"You're not leaving me ever! You're grounded to your room the minute you're handed that diploma! I can't have you thinking being smart will get you places!" Harry states seriously and Zayn only laughs harder.

"I love you, too, Uncle Harry. Now come on, let's get going!" Zayn exclaims as he runs out to the car with Louis and Niall straight on his tail. After a couple words of encouragement from Liam, Harry finally managed to make his way out to the car with a sad but proud smile present on his face.

The family of five finally arrive at the school and just as they're about to make their way into the auditorium where the ceremony will be happening, Zayn hears someone calling for him.

"Zayn! Zaynie!" Zayn hears too little voices scream, and as he turns around he's met by two bodies colliding into his own.

"Zeke, Zach! How've you boys been?" Zayn asks as he lifts the boys up into his arms.

"Good! I lost a tooth yesterday!" Zeke exclaims as he points to a now empty spot in his mouth.

"I scored the winning goal in our hockey scrimmage yesterday!" Zach exclaims as well.

"Wow! That's awesome boys! Alright, I promise we'll have an all night brother bonding session later when you sleepover, but for now I need to go inside to get my robe on," Zayn tells the boys as he presses a kiss to each of their foreheads before turning to Trisha to give her a small kiss on the cheek. And then the boy was off.

The two families get seats in the very front of the arena, and not even twenty minutes after sitting the graduation music is playing and the class begins to make their way onto the stage. They end up getting a clear view of Zayn, since the boy is sitting off to the side for when he has to make a speech later on. Throughout majority of the graduation, Zayn makes faces at Zeke and Zach while also trying not to laugh at the gestures Niall and Louis are discretely doing.

Finally, though, the school headmaster, class president, and class salutatorian have all finished with their speeches and now it is time for Zayn to go. The boy smiles to the Headmaster Higgins as the man begins his introduction.

"This years valedictorian is what all teachers would like to have out of a student. This young man averaged a 5.0 GPA while also passing five GCSES. Along with a difficult school curriculum, this young man managed to lead the school varsity hockey team in points scored for four consecutive years which is a big reason as to why they also won the national championship four years in a row. And to top it off, he has even started his own non-profit organization that raises money for widowed soldier wives and children. So it is without further-ado that I present to you, Mr. Zayn Malik," Mr. Higgins concludes as the people in the crowd begin to cheer. Harry being the loudest of course.
