Colby pov
The officer finally left after an hour. I realized I'm gonna need to explain more of what happened to Sam as well. All I had told him was that it was my dad. I just couldn't believe he would hurt me like that. My dad had always been kind of an asshole when he drunk or just in general but I never saw him hurting me like this. i sat up a little waiting for Sam to come back in. My head was throbbing and So were my ribs. "Hi, I've just come in to check your bandages" a nurse said opening the door. I nodded my head as she checked the bandage over my ribs and then took my vitals. "Everything looks good, do you need anything else"
"Could I get something for the pain" I ask. "Of course give me a few minutes" then Sam came through the door. "You have a visitor baby" Sam smiled. I cocked my head confused. And then my mom came walking through the door. "Mom!" "Oh hunni" she said coming over to give me a hug. She sat down in the chair and Sam sat beside me on the bed. "I think it's time you explain what happened babe" Sam said calmly rubbing my hand. I sighed and explained everything that had happened last night to them. By the end I was crying slightly and Sam and my mom were both hugging me.
"I can't believe him" my mom said. She looked absolutely furious. My mom stayed for about an hour before telling me she had to go find a hotel to stay in for the night. Soon after the doctors brought in my discharge papers and some prescriptions. "We can go pick up ur medicine and go home and cuddle if you want colbs" Sam looked at me holding my hand. I nodded and we headed out. Sam called us a Uber since brennen had drove us here.
Sam unlocked our door and both of us walked in. I looked down at my blood that was still smeared through the carpet and stopped moving. "I'm so sorry colbs" Sam said hugging me. We went and laid down for a while.
I woke up on the couch to my phone ringing . It was an unknown number .
"Hello"
"Colby I need help, I need you to come get me" my mom sobbed through the phone.
