I was running down the hall the next afternoon and saw Sarah. I waved her over and she walked toward me. Together we started for the Library. "Hey, Sarah?" I asked. "Yeah, what's wrong?" said Sarah. "Why do you assume that there is something bad?" I asked. She shrugged.

"Can you get a pass from your dad to the restricted section?"

I let the words that I'd just said sink in before she replied. "Sure. I'll ask, but why do you want it?" There was only one reason I had wanted that pass. I really needed to do some research.

-Flash Back-

"-in all that is the legend of The Abyss" We were in History of Magic now and this is the class that USUALLY nobody pays any attention to. During this lecture though, everybody's ears and eyes were on the teacher.

Hermione shot her hand in the air, this is rare even for her in this class. Her best class was probably Charms. "Professor Binns, are there any more stories on the Abyss and where it can be found or was last found?" said Hermione.

"Miss Granger, I'm very pleased with your enthusiasm but, sadly, nobody has found The Abyss in centuries. Nobody even knows how it works yet." said the professor slowly backing by the wall to exit the class. He is a ghost so he just goes through the wall to signify the class being over.

This was my last period. Sarah was in D.A.T.D.A. right now and I was going to head that way towards the library later today. Might as well pick her up on my way to the library.

-Back In the Halls-

"I need to look up something there. Since the professor said there isn't anything in the 'main library' then the restricted section is the way to go. We have two hours before supper, so we can spend an hour here and go change in the common room after." I told Sarah quietly.

She just nodded and went to her dad's class to get the slip. I assume it was because she likes getting into trouble so she agreed easily. When she came back it had been about 5 - 10 minutes later. We went through the door to the library, and walked to the front desk.

Sarah stood in front of me and pulled out the slip, showed it to the lady and stood there for a second. "Sarah, what are you doing with this slip? You know that you don't need one to enter, you've been my favorite since you were little." Sarah smiled.

She examined the slip once more than handed it back to Sarah.

"But, I guess since you have your friend here you do need one, ay. All right, 1 person inside at a time" she handed Sarah the key and we were off to the gates.

Just wait for the juiciness in this chapter I'm not done!!
