I found an old trunk in the attic and started getting ready, I packed everything even my emergency bag but I wasn't ready. I found the floo powder and put it in my drawer. I was going to go tonight. I needed the key to Gringotts Bank to access my vault(inheritance). I looked in the attic and sure enough, it was there. I couldn't wait to start next week in August. I stepped into the fireplace downstairs with my key in hand. I said, "Diagon Alley!!!" I threw the powder down and right away I was there. I still had my key in my hand, with my other hand I helped myself up and dusted off my butt. It was a long alley but there on a sign, I saw very clearly in bold, black letters, 'Gringotts Bank'.

I walked in and saw the person at the desk in the far back. I walked toward the little man and said, "Sir, I would like to see Jason Shaw's bank vault, please. His recent pass allowed me to inherit the vault from him." then he said, "Key please". I handed the key with the Gringotts engraved in it. He inspected it for a moment and then gave it back and pointed at one of the other little men. The other one said, "Follow me please". He then opened the back gate and let me in the cart. I was super excited to see how much my father left for me. The little man yelled, "CELL 3465, Key PLEASE!!!" I handed it to him with my ears still ringing from his yelling.

He opened the vault and I immediately saw mounds upon mounds of gold, silver, and bronze coins. The little man handed me a bag to carry out all the gold and silver coins that I wanted. I grabbed handful upon handful and made sure that I was ready for the amount I was about to buy. I asked, "Sir when we get out of this place can you point me to the nearest owlery?". "Yes ma'am, when you leave the nearest store on your left is an owlery." I stepped into the cart thanked the little man, and then left with a big bag. I followed his directions and found an owlery. I asked to send a letter to McGonagal. He handed me a piece of paper and started to write.

Dear Ms. McGonagal,

I know my entry is late but if there is time, may you accept my entry to Hogwarts? If so please notify me immediately.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Giuliana Shaw

I gave it to the man that gave me the paper and he enclosed it with a red stamp and he put it in an owl claw and it flew off. I started walking around to look for a shop. My father told me of a shop called 'Ollivanders' where he got his wand so I wanted my own. I cant use his forever. Then I saw it in big gold letters slightly faded. I walked in and made sure I still had my bag. A rather old man who looked like he hadn't slept in days asked, "And who might you be?" "Shaw, Giuliana Shaw" "Ah, I knew your father. He was a very good wizard and it seems just yesterday he came to get his wand." He pulled out a long box and it read on the front in thin letters, 'Nut Wood, 14 inch.' He placed it in front of me and I grabbed the wand inside and waved it around then almost immediately behind me, a chair fell apart. "No, definitely not, hm, maybe this one" When he put the box down it read 'Alder Wood, 13 3/4 inch.' I grabbed it right and gave it a flick and one of the feathers in a cup floated to the man at the desk. "Amazing, that is the fastest we have ever found a wand for anyone in this shop. If you would like to keep the wand it will be two golden sickels." I put the wand back in the case and handed him two golden coins. I grabbed the box and left.

Finally, I had my own wand. I felt it in my hand to get used to it but it just felt right. "Getting a new wand?" I spun around to see two redheads who looked about two years older than me. "Oh, yeah. I'm going to Hogwarts soon so I need one. It will be my first year. I'm Giuliana by the way," "Great, we can show you around. I'm Fred and that is George we are in the 3rd year soon and we hope to have you there with us." he smiled at me then the other twin jabbed Fred in the stomach with his elbow. "Anyway, we must be off. See you on the train!!" He said rubbing his stomach and waving goodbye. I chuckled a bit and then started walking off. Just then an owl dropped a letter on the floor in front of me. I didn't expect it to be this quick. I grabbed the letter and read the cover.
