Nine til Two

~Chapter 12~

Seth's P.O.V.

  All I could hear were Lane and Erik yelling for Felix.

"FUCK!!" I hear Erik groan.

Felix definitely just got captured.

.shit.

"SETH YOU DUMBASS. STOP KEEPING YOUR EYES CLOSED AND HELP US YOU FUCKTARD.!!"

Wait ..What the fuck am I doing?
Closing my eyes like a total idiot while one of our friends gets abducted.

"SAY SOMETHING YOU FUCK." Erik yells at me.

I hesitantly opened my eyes as quickly as possible and pushed against Lane and Erik,
having enough power to break the door open after a bit of more strength.

We kinda all tumbled out but got up as fast as possible.

"WE HAVE TO GO. NOW." Lane says in panic.

He doesn't even hesitate anymore. He flies up the basement stairs and out of the house.

"COMEON SETH. LETS CATCH THE FUCK UP."
I nod. Following Erik out of the downstairs basement, and then out of the house.

We can see Lane in the sky, looking around for wherever those two might have gone, doesn't seem like he's having any luck though..

I look at the floor to see a trail of blood..

"..oh Felix.."

I can see Erik following the trail. I also follow, not that far behind him.

We reached the end of the blood trail. It ended near the River.

"Shit!!! We were too fucking late!!.." Erik pants. "Fucking idiot didn't pay any attention to where he was goin-"

I smack Erik across his face.

Not only because I wanted to do it from that other time he did it to me, but because he needed to snap out of it.

Just like how I needed to when I had to deal with Xander's death.

He helped me then, so I'm helping him now.

"Now's not a good time to be a bitch, yelling at Felix even though he's not even here anymore Erik.
We just have to get out of here. He's obviously been killed.."

I sigh looking down in sorrow.

Lane flies back down, panting like an animal. "We DO have to get out of here. Chances are Juniper, Zelk, and Nikki were already killed too."

..Lane's probably right. From the time now and when we got separated, I think they're gone..

"Guys come on. Before another one of us gets killed. Keep your eyes open for bear traps, shadows and tripwires."

We start walking off except for Erik.

I can see him holding his face in disbelief.

Probably because I've never actually given a punch or hit to him before.

"Erik. Comeon.." I said a little concerningly.

He nods slowly. "Yea. I'm coming." I wait for him to reach me and we both start walking.

I think..I broke my brother.

"Hey Seth.."

I look at him,
hopefully he doesn't start yelling at me.

"Thanks for that.."

I was 100% right.
I broke him for sure.

"I uh..No problem Erik."
