"Protect the Zapfish at all costs. That means you, Octoling 1612. And don't fall asleep on the job this time!"

"Come on, boss! There was no Inkling sightings for almost a month now!"

"Rebecca, Boss is not going to be happy with us if we let any more Inklings make off with any more Zapfish."

Rebecca sighed. "Let's just face it. I'm never going to change my ways. Someone just has to explain that to DJ Octavio."

"You tell me. To be honest, I'm actually going to be thrilled if an Inking were to see this place." A blue-haired octoling said, a sarcastic tone in her voice.

But then, a "Woomy!" was heard.

Rebecca gasped in shock. This was her first time dealing with an Inkling, so she was nervous.

"INCOMING!"

One thing led to another, and Rebecca was the last octoling left. Before the Inkling could take fire though, she panicked and shot at the Zapfish's pedestal.

The Inkling just stared, obviously very confused about what the heck he just saw.

Rebecca just stared back, but then got an idea. She knew it would be a bad idea, but she was pretty sure that no one would notice.

But when she got back to her house, she found her things outside, as well a notice on her door, saying that someone saw her return a Zapfish.

"What the?! How?! I was the last Octoling in the area, there's no way someone saw me!"

"You forgot about the Octocopters, didn't you?" An elite octoling said, her eyes burning the back of Rebecca's head. "Now are you gonna leave this place, or are we going to have a problem?"
