Calum Hood x Reader

Thunder boomed outside echoing off the walls in your empty apartment. Your boyfriend had gone out to buy groceries from the store across the street. A flash of lightning lit up the sky, and cold drops of rain began to fall from the gray clouds above the city. "Where is he?" You thought to yourself as you heated up a cup of hot cocoa in the microwave. Ever since the two of you were little, Calum had been afraid of thunder storms. As you were wondering about his whereabouts, the door to your shared apartment flew open and Calum stumbled in to the room with panic written all over his face. His favorite blue flannel was soaking wet, and he dropped all of the groceries on the ground in front of him. His brown eyes were wild and his beautiful brown hair was a mess. He frantically looked around and once he caught sight of you, he breathed a sigh of much needed relief.

"Y/N!" He exclaimed rushing over to where you stood by the microwave. He hadn't embraced you long before a crash of thunder rang through your ears causing your hyperventilating boyfriend's grip on your smaller body to increase immensely. "Calum." You said in a soothing voice. He loosened his grip. Another crash of thunder. He buried his head in to your chest searching for comfort from the storm. You chuckled. Holding his face in your hands, you leaned in so your noses touched. You could feel his warm breath on your face in a staccato rhythm. "It's alright." You whispered as a flash of lightning was quickly followed by the booming sound your boyfriend dreaded. You barely had time to process the situation before his plump lips were on yours, bringing you in to a deep and passionate kiss.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

You pulled away, flushed cheeked. You had almost forgotten about the hot cocoa! Sulking about the lack of attention, Calum snuck up behind you. You felt two arms wrap around your waist and stay there, rocking the both of you from side to side. "I want some cocoa." He growled in his deep melodic voice. You giggled, took a sip, and offered him the mug. "Not from there." He said, a devilish glint in his brown eyes. Another crash of thunder, but neither of you noticed. He pulled away from the kiss for only a second to whisper, "Delicious."
