Together Again

Chapter 9

Jay's POV

I can tell that Erin is really worried about Amelia and Oliver. I know she will be a great mom because she just met them not even 2 hours ago and she is already worried about them. I am driving as fast as I can so we can get them to the hospital to get checked out because Erin thinks they are coming down from a high, and I agree with her. We are about to pull into Med and I can see Will and Natalie are waiting by the ER doors for us. I pull up to the ER doors and help Erin get Amelia and Oliver out of the car before we head in to let Will and Nat do an exam on them. Erin and I wait in the waiting room. A few minutes later the rest of intelligence shows up. A few minutes later Will and Nat come out to tell us how they are.

E) how are they

N) both Amelia and Oliver are coming down from a high, they will be very cranky so just make sure that they get lots of love. We want to keep them till all of the drugs are out of their systems.

E) Yeah we can do that, thank you

J) can we see them

W) yeah I will show y'all their room

Everyone from intelligence follows Will to Amelia and Oliver's room. Everyone stays for about 2 hours then they all leave to go finish paperwork except for Erin and Jay. They said they will finish their paperwork when they know that Amelia and Oliver are done withdrawing from the high. Amelia and Oliver are both being held and having skin to skin contact. Then Will and Nat walk in the check their vitals.

W) Hey we just came to check their vitals

E+J) Yeah that's what we expected

N) yeah this will just take a minute

E) ok we will get out of your way

W) y'all don't have to leave

J) we weren't going to leave we were just going to put them back in the crib

N) well in that case you can be my guest

E+J) thanks

Erin's POV

I hope that we will be able to go home soon. I am also thinking about asking Jay to move in with me since we are basically staying at each other's apartment every night, we very rarely spend a night apart now. I guess that is the result of not seeing each other for the last 2 years. I just ho[e that he will agree to move in with me. I will ask him soon but not right now I just want to focus on Amelia and Oliver. Nat and Will finished their exams and said we should be able to go home at the end of the week. I am very happy that they get to go home so soon but that also means that I have to ask Jay to move in soon. I am thinking of doing it now because I am pretty sure that Jay can tell that something on my mind.

J) Erin what's going on and don't you dare say nothing because I know you and can tell when something is wrong

E) nothing is wrong, I am just thinking of asking you something
