"𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐍 I pay you to turn that shit off" Mikey asked as he sat at his desk scanning through some papers.

"Don't have to pay me anything, I'll do it for free. Shit was pissing me off too." He said as he made a fist and punched the clock on the wall.

"There, no more sound."

Although Mikey figured there were plenty of other ways his friend could turn off the clock, he found it amusing at how desperate Draken was to get rid of it.

"How much time before you have to go into another meeting?"

"3 hours, 5 minutes and 52 seconds, why?" Manjiro asked as he stood up to finally look his friend in the eyes.

"Takemichi said we should hang out."

"That's if that bitch doesent have shit in his hair."

"Mikey stop playing with me and give me my dollar back." Takemichi said as he tried, but failed to retrieve his dollar bill from the man.

"Still short as ever Takemichi." Mikey laughed as he sipped some coffee and and stuffed a taiyaki in his mouth.

"You're literally a millionaire who owns 3 companies, why the heck do you need my one dollar?"

"I like yours better."

"Don't make me kick you." Takemichi threatened.

"Try it-"

"Both of you shut up. If I knew you guys would bicker the entire time I would have went home."

"Sorry Draken" they said in unison

"1 hour left till my meeting." Mikey said as he checked the time for the 145th time.

"And I got to meet up with Hina, see you guys. Try not to kill Mikey, Draken." Takemichi laughed as he walked off.

"Takemichi always asks the impossible doesen't he..." Draken mumbles.

"What was that?"

"Nothing Mikey. Nothing at all."

"Ok! While were on the subject there is this girl that recently moved into the building complex I own but can't pay the rent."

"What does that have to do with anything-"

"So now because of her I have to go to the apartment and threaten to kick her out. Damn the things people make me have to do."

"Ah yes Mikey, collecting rent and evicting people who can barely make a living, what a saint you are."

"Someone has to do it, and sadly that guy is me."

As the wind blows a girl not too far away let's her cigarette run as she stands and leans against the patio railling.

She liked to stare out in the distance and remember all the struggles she had to go through just to get to where she is now.

And just to get kicked out again in the end.

"It was a nice run Taylor, you've come far. Time to find another apartment that might take you." She said as she took a deep sigh, talking to herself.

"Oh great..." She said as it started to rain. A water puddle formed on her quite nice and freshly painted balcony.

As she stared at the puddle she saw a reflection of her younger self as she held both her parents hands as they lifted her up so she could avoid getting wet by the puddle.

"Why do I think about these shitty excuses of parental figures." She mumbled as she stepped in the puddle and rubbing her boot into it until she no longer saw the image.

"Probably been smoking too much if it makes me this delirious."

Ring

"Must be the owner." She thought.

She has never seen the owner with her own eyes. It was one of his employers that sold her the place she lives in now.

"Well, no time like the present."

She swung open the door and looked at the two males.

"You're late on your-" Manjiro started saying but felt at lost for worlds as he realized who was in front of him.

"Taylor?"

"What? How do you know me?"

"Does Mikey sound familiar to you?"

She glances at him up and down, too fast to check him out but too slow to be called a quick inspection either. She then looked over at Draken.

"Oh wow, you look the same as even Draken."

"I'm right here." Mikey pouted

"And you still do that pouty shit that you find adorable." She said, although even after all these years she still found it cute.

"By the way you guys are acting, people would assume you're still dating."

An awkward silence follows as they both had no idea what to say.

"Well we aren't a thing anymore. Anyway you're the building owner?"

"Yep." He said as he fiddle with the thin gold chain around his neck.

Why was he nervous, he thought. Never has he been nervous round women or men but somehow seeing you makes his legs turn to mush.

"Well, I don't think I can pay it... With my financial situation and shit I don't think can afford it."

Mikey knew what he should've done. He should have let you have an extra month to pay. After all that's the moral thing to do, but he had a buisness to think of and he cant let people slide.

"You have a week to move out then." Mikey said to her looking away

"That's fine, didn't expect you to play favorites with me. Not upset you do you. I'll call for someone to help me move my things..."

Mikey had nothing left to say as he walked away with Draken wondering if he did the right thing.

"Kazu?" Taylor said through her phone.

"Yeah T?"

"I got kicked out again."

"That bad huh... Ok I'll help you pack your things I've got a great place for you to stay!"

"And where is that?"

"With me silly."

"I thought you couldn't let me stay because your girlfriend took up half the house you own."

"Well we broke up last week so you can stay."

"Oh, that's quite fortunate thank you Kazu!"

"No problem Taylor, call me so I can help you move."

As Taylor said her goodbyes and hung up Kazutora sat in is chair with a grin.

"Now I have you all to myself... Let's see how well you take this Mikey. When I want something,I'll take it."
