In the spring 2022, I decided to enrolled myself into this poetry course because of interest. Did I learned a couple of things? Yes. Did I enjoy it in some way? Yes. Did I regret it? Yes.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like when enrolling in these varieties of creative writing classes, I think it eradicates your mindset on you're writing preferences. Especially; with professors who would critique your poems since it's like they wanted your writing composed their way. Even the more you improve the poem, the more they ask you to revise it since it's not "concrete enough." I love my writing, and at most times, I don't even know what I write about, so usually, I would say the poem is an open interpretation. There will be time for me to modify these poetry writings, but I would need a perfect idea to make it click. However, it's like these Professors would pressure us to the point that they think we're getting some Pulitzer prize shit; when I am eager to write with a fair and straightforward mentality. So now, after bearing that class, I fell into this writer's block hole that keeps getting more in-depth. I want to keep going, but it's like everything is puzzled, and I don't know what to do.

Maybe I'm losing it? Shit
