Liam sat down with his head staring down at his feet. The boys around him stared at him with empathy and didn't know exactly why he was looking like that or how to even comfort him.

Mr. Greene came back inside of the room with glaring eyes. It shot straight at Liam. The other boys saw that he was glaring at Liam whilst walking back towards his desk. They shot him a glare, then looked back at Liam.

"Your beard will come at the morning tomorrow. Come by around 10 to meet her and we'll discuss the contract and what she'll be doing to help you," he stated blankly as he shuffled papers around. He looked up at Liam's brown eyes and glared at it. "And come alone."

Liam didn't trust his voice or his body reactions in order to even speak to Mr.Greene. Instead, he nodded his head and they were dismissed.

Paul escorted the boys outside and into the car. No one spoke a word to Liam the whole day through.

Liam's soft brown eyes looked around the room and sighed. He knew he was going to meet his beard today, but why does he even need one? He doesn't even like Louis.

No, he doesn't like Louis in the way management sees them as a threat to their image. He knows the truth. Louis was first a fuck buddy, but at the end of the night, he became a friend. That's the only truth.

When he got to the office again, he didn't expect to meet someone that looked so similar to Danielle. Her brunette hair complemented her body so perfectly, and her hazel eyes smiled when she smiled. And Liam couldn't lie, she was utterly gorgeous.

"Brooklyn," she smiles, "but I refer to the name Brook. It's amazing to meet you Liam! I'm a huge fan of your music."

"Hi," Liam smiles warmly, "it's great to meet you."

"Sit down so we can discuss the contract and what she'll be doing for you." Mr.Greene points at the both of them whilst placing down a folder full of papers sticking out.

Liam left the building with paparrazi swarming him and his bodyguard. His head sweeped down low, staring at his hands that held papers that sent his head spinning. He felt as if he was about to throw up.

But why? Liam asked himself. The feeling clung to him during the ride home, being at home, and even going to sleep. It clung to him in the worst way ever. Yet he didn't understand why.

Several weeks passed and Liam met Brook again. It was all staged - the meeting place, the cameras, the paparrazi. Everything was staged, especially his 'smile'.

The others greeted Brook politely, even though they saw Liam's eyes telling the truth - being tortured. Nonetheless, they kept a smile in front of the cameras. Liam kept his posture and kept up with the smiling and holding hands with Brook.
