A/N: I feel horrible, been feeling like this the whole fucking week. So no, don't expect much from me. It's most likely going to be a crappy chapter and I apologize. I wish I can control my depression, but I can't. So either you fuckin enjoy what I give you, or not. Sorry.
After 5 boring hours of hearing Brook talk about her uni application, acceptance, and shopping sprees, Zayn brought her home. When the door closed behind the two of them, Louis sighed deeply. He was happy that she went home.
"She talks too much," Niall blurts out. Louis and Harry laughed at his sudden statement whilst Liam shook his head.
"You don't think that she talks too much Li?" Harry asks once he calms down. Liam shrugged and replied, "Of course I do! But that doesn't mean anything. It's just a job that she's doing. She can talk as much as she'd like, I wouldn't really care."
"Of course you'd care! You can already see how much she's spending your money," Niall tells Liam as he got up from Harry's grip.
Liam couldn't agree more. He knew about how much he was spending on her, but he couldn't help it. He as only being a gentleman. A true gentleman makes a woman happy, and if she wants to buy something, he might as well spend his money on her.
Harry looked uncomfortable with Louis staring at Liam whilst Liam was in deep concentration, so he walked out on them and joined Niall in the kitchen. Low whispers came from them, but neither Liam or Louis paid attention to them.
"Liam," Louis says quietly, snapping Liam out of his trance, "what's wrong?"
"Oh nothing Lou, don't worry about it." Liam walked to the kitchen, leaving Louis sitting there uncomfortably. Liam's head peeked out of the corner and his grin was spread across his face. "Well, care to join us in the kitchen Lou?"
Louis nodded and jumped out of his seat to follow Liam. When they got to the kitchen, Harry was cooking some food whilst Niall was watching him intensively.
"Do you guys know when we'll be back in the studio?" Liam asks out of nowhere. Both Niall and Harry shrugged, not really giving him and Louis much attention. Liam sighed at their behavior and lead Louis towards the dining table. They sat across from each other, gazing at each other's features.
"So," Louis says awkwardly. Liam nodded, smiling at Louis' uncomfortableness.
"I'm so sorry about Brook earlier today. She's quite a handful, but I guess that's all girls, isn't it?" Liam laughs. Louis smiled and nodded.
"I suppose. They are a handful. But Brook, I don't know. From what I'm hearing on the tabloids and from the guys' perspective, it seems as if she's just using your fame and money."
Liam shrugged and said, "Don't say it like it's a bad thing Lou-"
"But it really is Liam. On the tabloids, it's like she's buying so many things because of you, but they talk about her like she's some kind of goddess when really, she was a nobody before she got the job. And then the guys are talking about her like she's just using you. And once she gets out of her contract, I bet you there would be no remorse for you when you find out you spent all that money on all of her worthless desires," Louis says in one breath. He gulps a load of air once he finishes, causing him to giggle.
"I don't know Louis. I've barely known the girl for about a month and two weeks. We're barely even hanging out behind scenes as well. This was just another set up from management," Liam sighs. His brows furrowed together, and although he felt as if he was making a confused and frustrated expression, all he looked like was a shaved puppy with adorable eyes.
